We got 5 inches of snow here in Comanche OK yesterday. Schools are closed today.

Does it snow very often? Do you have a snow shovel or just wait til it melts?

Well, just now I went outside and kicked the snow around with my boots.

I did this to try to create a pathway in case I need head and get something because I run out of it.

The forecast high today here in Comanche OK is 29 under mostly cloudy skies. Tomorrow's forecast high is 37 so hopefully that will melt off all the snow.

The roads here are very treacherous. I'm surprised some people are able to drive the streets. Maybe it's because all the heat from the cars and such melts of the ice.

Like I said, most area schools are closed today. We'll see how things work out. We may get some more snow later this week.

WooHoo! we have rain.
Be glad to see the white stuff washed away.
Unfortunately, some of our northern neighbors will get snow/sleet.

Ok, I watched the SuperBowl.
I must say I was so embarrassed for Denver.
They had a terrible night.
Kudos to the Seahawks. They dominated the game.

Now, I need to make a quick run through the Canteen,
say hellos and catch up before people start arriving.

But please stay right where you are.
Chat up the military or a family member.
No need to fret...you know I'll be back!

Not much going on right now. Looking over work and figuring what needs to be done.

Well, I spent this morning kicking around all the snow with my boots to try to clear a path for my pickup in case I need to do any emergency trips.

Hopefully I won't need to today. But, just in case went ahead and did it. The roads are in not too good shape right now. Schools are closed today. We got around 5 inches or so of snow yesterday.

More is on the way for later this week.

Ours is 30 with high humidity...probably ice on the overpasses. Glad to be home...or close by...today! Atleast it’s not snowing/sleeting. So far.
