Confirmed: Obama Inaugural Donor In Charge of Dinesh D’Souza Prosecution

Preet Bharara and Attorney General Eric Holder

Preet Bharara, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and George Venizelos, the Assistant Director-in-Charge of the New York Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), filed charges this past week against DINESH D’SOUZA with violating the federal campaign finance laws.

What didn’t make the news is that Preet Bharara is a big Obama donor.

News Alert reported:

The indictment of conservative activist Dinesh D’Souza raises some troubling questions. The man leading charge against D’Souza is Preet Bharara, who does little to hide his partisan nature.

Can Dinesh D’Souza get a fair trial when Preet Bharara is listed as a “Obama Inaugural Donor” according to Open Secrets. All of this raises a larger question, why did Justice Department employees make the top 20 list of financial donors to Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012?

From WiKi:

Preetinder Singh “Preet” Bharara (born 1968) is an Indian American attorney and the current U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.[1] In 2012, Bharara was named by Time magazine as one of “The 100 Most Influential People in the World,” and by India Abroad as its 2011 Person of the Year.[2][3][4] Bharara was also featured on a cover of Time Magazine entitled “This Man is Busting Wall Street” for his office’s prosecutions of insider trading and other financial fraud on Wall Street.[5][6] His office has prosecuted several international terrorists, and secured life sentences for many high profile ones like Faisal Shazad, the Times Square Bomber.[7] He has charged several former and current elected officials in corruption cases and acted against organised crime in the country. Bharara was included in Bloomberg Markets Magazine’s 2012 “50 Most Influential” list as well as Vanity Fair’s 2012 and 2013 annual “New Establishment” lists.[8][9][10] His brother, Vinit Bharara, is the entrepreneur who co-founded Diapers.com, a subsidiary of Amazon.com.[11]

He came to the spotlight again with the prosecution of an Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade, which created tensions in India-US relations.[12][13]

The Rhenquist court upheld McCain-Feingold 5-4, with Rhenquist, Scalia, Thomas, and Kennedy dissenting. If Dsouza challenges the law they’re charging him with, IMHO he wins - ultimately - in SCOTUS. Provided SCOTUS rules while the aforementioned are all still on the bench.

as a Christian (my understanding of his faith), what a joy it must be for mr. d’souza to receive persecution from these leftists.

I wonder how much D’Souza's lawyer donated to Obama.

His lawyer makes it sound like he's guilty. (He was clocked speeding at 99 MPH on a road marked 65 MPH. His defense is that it was a nice day and a nice road?) I don't know anything about D’Souza's lawyer, but, geesh, he really does makes it sound like his client is guilty!

Perhaps Romney deserves some to the blame running a pathetic GOTV campaign. By the end of the election it looked as if he was voting for Obama.

Pray America is Waking
*****************************************************************
In the 2012 primaries, he and his campaign attacked relentlessly whatever conservative may have been in the lead at a given moment—and that aggressiveness won him the nomination. When it came to the general election however, the Romney campaign was inexplicably ALL kid gloves in its treatment of Obama—and that reticence was at least partially responsible for his defeat.

Of course accumulated conservative disgust with the GOPe and its designated candidates (and the resulting staying at home by millions of disillusioned conservatives) played the major role in the Republican defeat.

Anyhow, we’re now stuck with this corrupt and evil Obama regime oppressing the nation and its most patriotic citizens.

Question, what would have been the outcry if the Bush DOJ indicted Michael Moore after Fahrenheit 911?
