Good evening/good morning!

Was watching the game and following along on Free Republic. I’m glad Denver at least made it on the board. At least one freeper posted on the live thread STILL WHINING about the loss of the Seahawks to the “Stealers” several years ago! LOL! Sore loser! I hope they are a graceful winner (like our Ladysmith was when the Steelers were soundly beaten by her Packers!)

Good morning n’@! On a two hr delay here!

What an awful game. Was on Twitter for a tad last night (to chat about the commercial)-> Coke’s multi-culti America the beautiful was insulting (to me my ilk) or melting pot to liberal types. Kinda like Coke is the official soft drink of Amnesty.

Tim Tebow has a great future in commercials (and broadcasting) he’s funny (and I hope a pretty big guy) when it comes to the Broncos but you have to wonder if deep down inside he was like “told ya.”

The Dobehuahua was a funny commercial (not that I could ever afford an Audi). And I can’t afford an Audi because I didn’t win the EsuranceSave30 retweet contest.

And I enjoyed Bruno Mars (weird mix w/RHCP though).

Two weeks til pitchers and catchers report to Bradenton!

Yinz be careful n’@ roads look awful here!

I felt bad for the Broncos! At least they made it on the scoreboard.

Tim Tebow has a bright future in tv. I saw a commercial with him and his mom several days ago. She’s got to be so proud of him! I hope he holds on to his Christian values and doesn’t let Hollyweird get to him! He should run for congress some day!

The National Anthem was well done. I was prepared for another stinker, but the opera singer (sorry, can’t remember her name) was wonderful! I liked the half-time show as well. Can’t remember a super bowl where the Anthem and the half time show were both enjoyable!

I stayed up to watch the entire game and now I’m paying for it, lol! Had trouble staying awake at work...that never happens to me. Dead tired now.

Mr S watched the entire thing. I left the room after that TD just after the beginning of the 3rd quarter. It was too embarrassing to watch! I followed the Super Bowl thread on Free Republic. Wasn’t much of a game - but congrats to the Seahawks anyway. If the Broncos had their act together, the game would have been worth watching!

Get some sleep!!

Our delay went to CLOSED...roads are terrible. Our SD bagged the day at around 6:40; surrounding SDs well after 7am. It just keeps coming down here...

Joe Bastardi has southern PA (same pattern as this morning) gets blasted tomorrow night into Wednesday am and then again this weekend (but start time Friday pm or Sat still undecided). He has a wx map on Twitter showing 18+ inch snow cover across lower 1/3 of PA by next Monday.

Fun times...thx Phil!

Good grief! I’m seeing robins outside of my office window! Saw one on Saturday. Am seeing lots of them this morning! They’re all puffed up trying to stay warm! Silly birds! Should have stayed south! I have to admit that I look forward to seeing them though!

Like most guys my age I was only dimly aware of Bruno Mars.
But what a great show! A little Prince, a dash of James Brown, mix in the Temptations....Nice throwback effect.

My wife was quick to point out how sharply dressed Mars and his band were as compared to the RHCP (who could well have been mistaken for homeless guys on a Newark street). The two went together like a slice of apple pie and....well, a red hot chili pepper.

RHCP are getting WAAAAAY too long in the tooth for that act.

ROBINS!?! I remember them!!! And you are farther north than I am. It’s a little before 1pm and we are still getting light snow showers—probably have 7 inches (approx). Fortunately no wind. Tomorrow supposed to just be cold the tomorrow night, snow to freezing rain to snow (according to JoeB).

Did you even get flurries? Because, we’re not that far apart as the ROBIN flies :)

I really enjoyed Bruno Mars...awesome. His performance was upbeat and infectiously happy. The RHCP not so much...

I love the 60s glam look. Polished...again, the RHCP...icky at best (I have NEVER liked the grunge look...people paid good $ to see your show...at least look like you showered). Anyways...I really liked Mars (and Harry Connick, Adele...there is a trend forming).

OK, I have no clue who was who. Was Bruno Mars the guy dressed in the outfit or the tattooed guy in the shorts and t-shirt. I admit to not knowing who is who! I enjoyed the show. I thought the guys in the gold suits were really good - the other guys, not so much!

:). Bruno Mars was the cutie who started out on the drum kit (Gold jacket) then had the solo. The grungy old men, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, were the icky shirtless ones. I do like the RHCP music wise BUT they were not a comp to the retro 60s Motownesque Mars.

I think I’m one of the few (but Mr and Mrs McFrog did too!!!) FReepers who like halftime.

Oh I thoroughly enjoyed half-time. The best one they’ve had in a long time! I’m off to start tomorrow’s thread. SIL’s car broke down and we have to be out the door early to run out to Elderton to get her and then backtrack to Indiana!

I SWEAR I posted the thread for today. I saw it before I went to bed last night! I wonder why it was pulled? I didn’t donate to Free REpublic yet (I’m a monthly donor). My card was deactivated by the bank because I used it at Target. Got a new one and have to sign up again.

Good morning n’@!

Safe travels w/the extra driving around this morning!

Did you get ANY snow yesterday??? (Yes I am that wx obsessed!)

Winter storm watch with the word that throws fear into my <3 ICING! Yinz all be careful...the warning starts at 7pm and goes thru early evening Wednesday. Joe B hasn’t put up anything “new” yet about the storm (he had the Burgh at 6—more as you go south & east and then central PA and east getting a lot more...however. WTAE has higher snow totals north of city w/no one pinning down who (where) the ICING (up to 1/4 in) will happen).

All this wx makes me forget (for a few minutes) about ALL damage DearLeader is inflicting...what a mess!

I emailed JimRob and he said they probably thought it was a duplicate thread. I’ll post tomorrow’s thread tomorrow morning. That way, there won’t be a mixup!
