President Barack Obama is out of gas. Pooped out. Gone fishing. Or rather, golfing. Hes just not that into it anymore. The republic is safe from any further vast left-wing legislative prescriptions for our ills.
But Obamas increasing job fatigue is, paradoxically, cause for serious concern. While he sits back, aides in the White House and in the agencies are busy enacting a stealth agenda of rules and regulations. And on the world stage, Washingtons withdrawal threatens national security.
The president on display at Tuesdays State of the Union is one who has shrunk from the pretension of becoming a president on the order of Ronald Reagan or Franklin Roosevelt into the purveyor of a list of puny policies that tinker at the margins.
Instead of offering fundamental change and inspirational hope, Obama made increasing the minimum wage for federal contractors the centerpiece of this years address. The increasingly disinterested president even had trouble pronouncing the name of his other big idea, a limited savings vehicle the White House is calling a MyRA.
Major issues like debt, deficit and entitlements? Fuhgetaboutit, way too much bother....

Obama has no idea what he says from one day to another
He's been into being king.
If he can't be king, he's not into it.
If one of our allies gets overrun, or a huge regional war gets kicked off because he's "not that into it," he'll just blame it on Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, and return to his leisure activities. His MSM mommy will cover for him and trumpet the excuses of his shills, and that will be that.
Sleeping? *snort* Six feet under, I wish.
Obama’s weary.
I’m weary.
The country’s weary.
We are in trouble.
.
Obama was NEVER into governing. He enjoys campaigning, and he's very good at it. And he really enjoys the perks that come with his office.
But as far as governing, he's like a bored little boy. He'd just rather be doing something else. And I suppose that's good for us. If he had the cold drive of LBJ, we'd be in an even bigger mess than we are now.
Count me as damned glad LBJ is 6 feet under.
The truth is the bureaucracy does not need the Bolshecratic Party any more. It will continue to grow all by itself. It makes its own rules and punishes anyone that stands in its way.
As much as I despise Lyndon Johnson, seeing his name in the same sentence with Barack Obama makes me laugh out loud. It’s like comparing a top-flight Ferrari to the worst Yugo ever assembled. Thank the Lord he didn’t run for another term as he could have.
If he keeps on in this direction he may end up being the best president ever for the conservative party - his own people “seem” to be being burned out by him. Embarrassed by his stupidity . . . and when a rat sees someone as stupid, that is saying something.
It could be good for us, that is, if it wasn’t that the GOPe are a bunch of commie wannabees.
My mouth to God’s ear that the country will see the Tea Party has the answer.
What president! The POS should be in a cell!
Please clarify. I see both LBJ and Obama as Yugos, complete and utter historical failures. It is hard for me to say which one has harmed the country more. LBJ destroyed a generation with Vietnam. That effect is still being felt today. Obama has ruined race relations, and has put the country into a debt spiral.
I know Obama has a couple of years to go, but at this point I'd vote for LBJ as the worse of the two.
I suspect that Obama stays pretty well drugged up, just Hitler did when the Allies were closing in.
TEA anyone?
I think he should try heroin.
He’s still going to get amnesty and citizenship for illegals, thanks to Boehner, Ryan, and Cantor.
Straight heroin, not some street garbage that’s been repeatedly stepped on. Yes, I do know what that means.
Careful, then you get the zombie with his asshairs stapled to his scalp as Emperor.
