One of the photos in the Twitchy thread has at least one of the blown-up manholes across the street from the bar Playwrights, which is at 416 W. 42nd St. - meaning the explosion overlapped with the general area of 9th Ave. & 42nd. St., about 2 blocks west of the Times Square area.
