Osama Is Still Winning: The worst is yet to come.
The American Spectator ^ | February 3, 2014 | Ben Stein

Posted on 02/03/2014 2:20:24 AM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

I am weighed down by some thoughts I have been having lately. I think that since you are my family out there is Spectator-land, I will share them with you. (Although usually family are the last people who want to hear your thoughts. My sister is an exception, of course.)

First, a few days ago, I had a brief talk with a thoughtful high school student in my beloved Greenville. The topic was whether or not Osama bin Laden had realized his objectives in the attack of 9/11.

The woman had all kinds of brilliant insights, and herewith I add my gloom and doom addenda:

For OBL and the evil men and women he represents, the attacks were probably the most “successful” acts of wickedness by a small number in history (except for the acts of the founding members of the Nazis, the Bolsheviks, the Khmer Rouge, and the Chinese Communists). For the loss of 19 horrible scum people and an expenditure like what I spend on mortgages in a year, OBL and his henchmen killed 3,000 plus fine men, women, and children, tore apart the social fabric of the nation, caused us to spend trillions we would not otherwise have spent. He also caused us to lose roughly 3,000 grand men and women in our armed forces, innumerable good people in Iraq and Afghanistan, and sowed the seeds of a mighty oak forest of self-doubt and division in the free world.

This act of murderous terrorism did more than what OBL could have ever dreamed possible. It led us into an entirely unnecessary and fruitless war in Iraq. It led to Iraq being a hothouse of international terror, far worse than it was as a cruel despotism under Saddam....

Yes, bush went into Iraq to get revenge for hussein’s murder plot against his daddy. We should have used hussein to block iran... we bought him in the eighties and he was for sale. We should have nuked Afghanistan, destroyed all roads and bridges, nuked tora bora and mined all mountain passes and let it all simmer.

We tried to fight a politically correct war, while infringing on our own liberties at home. Not being a military experct, I won’t propose strategies and tactics that should have been used, but the result should have been a new stone age in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Syria.

If they win the House in Nov, we ain’t seen nothing yet. It’ll be pure, unadulterated hell for the next 3 years. God Help Us.

This guy is a paid columnist? Geeze.

“We are fighting a mental disease of hatred that has taken root and is spreading worldwide.”

Is he referring to Islam as a mental disease? If so, he might be partially correct. Islam has contributed nothing but hatred and violence to everything and everyone it touches. "Taken root?" Like it just happened in the past 20 years? Try CENTURIES. It’s a plague of ignorance and hatred, spread by primitive, evil butchers.

“Obama is doing the best he can, but he is up against the limits of his socialist ideology and his inherent paranoia.”

Obama is doing the best he can? To achieve what? Celebrating and loving what this country has stood for? Or destroying it? Recognizing and defending the Constitution? Or ignoring and trampling on it? Obama paranoid? Please. Further, Obama just happens to be a closet-Muslim, fraud, traitor, and an assortment of other titles. He might think he's doing the "best he can", but he needs to listen to the citizens he is WORKING FOR. He would discover very few agree with his methods.

And exactly what were the “brilliant insights” the woman high-school student offered to this guy?

Osama Is Still Winning: The worst is yet to come.

Only because the lefties in the regime have crafted the rules of engagement to the point that every squad needs a lawyer before they can shoot back.

My rules would be Kill 'em all and let GOD sort 'em out!

A couple of minor points, the country is NOT “near bankrupt”, the country is BANKRUPT, it has just not officially declared itself to be so. Anyone who goes to court and declares bankruptcy was bankrupt already before going into court. Secondly it is not JUST the party KNOWN AS THE Democrat party that wants this, much of what goes by the name of the Republican party now consists of the same bunch flying a false flag.

The collapse of the country is just what Obama wants. He is following the Cloward Piven model to the ultimate goal.

Exactly-bump.

No fair ascribing Obama's malicious outcomes and results to the Neocons or Dubya or anyone else but Obama and his politburo.

And another thing. Remember those boxes of dough, the ones our guys were finding all over Baghdad? The ones with $4.3 million apiece in brand-new C-notes from the U.S. Treasury packed in them like baseball cards?

Saddam and his boys were booking when we got to Baghdad .... and then someone changed their minds. Care to guess who?

Answer: Some senior officers of the Chinese People's Liberation Army dropped in on Saddam while he was packing his pistols and porcelains, and sold him the idea of a "Rope-a-Dope" war, a "survivor" war, against the Americans. The Chinese laid it out pitch-perfect for Saddam's personality, they knew the guy really well. Mr. Comeback, Mr. Survivor. He could fight a war in the desert for five, seven, ten years ..... and then the Americans would get tired like in Vietnam (the Democrats got tired in Vietnam -- because they were told to be tired by KGB Active Measures) and go home, leaving the rats and buzzards to claim victory on an empty battlefield. Just like Vietnam.

Just don't put that at Bush's door, or Rumsfeld's. Those guys didn't figure on Chinese interference. (Note: We still owe the Chinese big, for Vietnam, for nuclear proliferation -- the "borrowed knife" -- and now for Iraq.)

HERE WE GO ROUND THE MAY POLE Who could forget Obama's sap-happy "Arab Spring" when visions of terrorists as heart-filled humanitarians, weaving daisy chains, went frolicking around the May pole?

Obama's been prostrate---on his knees, all puckered up, apologizing for America, sucking up to America-hating countries. Obama, and his Chicago crime kingpins in the WH, have done everything possible to undermine US ntl security --- and they did it with our tax dollars.

Obama entertained the blood-thirsty Muslim Brotherhood in the WH; he gave the Muslim Brotherhood $2 billion tax dollars to finance its anti-American activities. It's certainly conceivable that the endless Mideast killings of Americans is being financed w/our tax dollars.

WHY WOULD A LIBERAL STAGE A MILITARY RAID? ANSWER COMIN' RIGHT UP Obama and HILLARY actually staged "military raids" in Libya. Did'ja ever? Who could image Smart Power types like Obama and Hill actually staging "military raids." But, heck, it was worth it----for Obama and Hill---they gained access to the National Bank of Libya. (No, there's no paper money there---just solid gold bars. Solid Gold. Not the fake Chinese tungsten filled bars flooding the gold market.)

==================================================

LET'S NOT FORGET Neocons also duped the US govt apparat into blood-thirsty Islamic Afghanistan.....the most corrupt spot on the globe. The Bank of Kabul is engaged in massive fraud---the bank gets deposits of billions of US tax dollars to run the war----if you are "a connected" Afghani you can withdraw billions with no "silly old" responsibility to pay it back. Afghan Pres Karzhai was seen loading billions of US dollars to transport out of the country. War profiteering at its finest (cackle).
