Though former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) is often hailed by the Republican establishment as the best candidate to take on Hillary Clinton in a potential 2016 general election contest for president, Clinton clobbers Bush by 20 percentage points in a hypothetical matchup.

According to a CNN/ORC poll released Monday, Clinton leads Bush 57% to 37%. Bush does worse against Clinton than do Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R), Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R), and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)...

Because too many Republican elites are falling for the aristocratic tendencies the Democrats already have. Who is the best person to take over a Senate seat? The child or another relative, if not the aide, of the current person. Look at Liz Cheney’s aborted run for her father’s prior seat. Who should run for President? Why, the former wife of a President! And their daughter in a decade or two, the same way a Kennedy daughter was promoted for office. If Kennedy’s son hadn’t died in that plane crash, he’d be anointed the next generation of Camelot right now.

And Democrats might be pushing a Bush as a candidate so they can have an easy person to win.

“Yes, after 30 years of marriage... no doubt. She calls me on her cell just to make certain that she votes the right way. I don’t have one of these “yuppie” wives.”

Ok, if you say so. However, as my wife and three grown daughters enjoy reminding me, women are the smart ones of the species. Could it be that your spouse of thirty years is just out smarting you? You know, some of that smoke and mirrors stuff? Hey, it happens, lol :)

No need to run a poll pitting Clinton against Sarah Palin as they know that Sarah would crush Hillary by 30 points.

I know it happens with some due to pop culture and through the indoctrination of public education but... my wife runs her own business and she is a Conservative and she knows the truth. She is a Christian and will not have to face GOD and be condemned for the support of abortion and other liberal democrat agendas. That is why I know how she thinks and know how she votes. We are of like minds.

The Clintons and Bushes have already had their turns looting the country. We don’t need to keep going back to the same families for our rulers like North Korea and Cuba.

I don’t think he has any shot at winning the nomination.

i honestly think its all misdirection from Dems. Hillary is another Clinton but Bush would be the 3rd. I don’t think he has any chance at the nomination even.

Another hyperbole "trial balloon."

By the time Obozo gets done I doubt ANYONE with any sense will be interested in ANOTHER DEMOCRAT.

As for Jeb Bush... He'd have to CHANGE his last name for the American public to want to elect him.
