I am sure that some one will come up with the Ayn Rand Quote. This deserves it.

Time for Stag to pull up stakes and move to friendlier climes.

Time for all gun and accessory manufactures to stop selling to anyone in CT.

Gun manufacturers should leave CT (and NY, for that matter). We could use some good jobs in northwest Florida, where people have a strong work ethic and would welcome good jobs of any kind. Come on down!

Stag has no business still being in Connecticut at all. And no legitimate maker of modern rifle has an business ever selling anything to the govt of Connecticut ever again.

Winchester has at least some of its operations in Mississippi, moved from Illinois. Just a day or two ago I read that Benelli USA is leaving Maryland and headed to Tennessee.

The move by Benelli is a sad thing for me, although I left the Washington Burbs a few years ago. With the exception of Baltimore and the counties surrounding Washington, outdoor activities equal any other part of the country in Maryland. The eastern shore is home to some of the finest waterfowl and deer hunting available. The Chesapeake Bay is more hospitable to Sailing, but lots of people make their livings as hunting and fishing guides on and around the Bay.

Virginia was home to me, but I enjoyed many FREE days and nights in the state of Maryland. FREEdom seems to be a thing of the past in the state.

Slightly off topic: I once owned a construction company. We built concrete foundations. One day an OSHA representative shows up to the site. My foreman asked the representative if the excavation met OSHA standards. (if the banks of an excavation are not shelved properly, a cave off could injure or kill a construction worker). My guy thought they were OK, but he wanted to make sure. The OSHA guy wouldn’t tell him. He more or less said that we would find out after we put men into the hole whether or not we would get a citation. My guy pulled the crew off the site. Government regulation for you.

“Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with.”

Espescially the cops, state troopers, sherrifs, etc.

This ia a kina old article, but still chilling. Stag needs to skedaddle out of there into a state that is still at least marginally sane, like almost anywhere south of of the Mason-Dixon line.

I’m not sure I would want to cross a man who digs holes and then fills them up with concrete for a living. To many places to dispose of unwanted things, like OSHA inspectors.

The law’s authors intended to use the law to entrap their enemies.
We are one step closer to CW 2.

Once had an OSHA Affirmative Action hire tell us that our guys need to be wearing life vests and have a boat on site since they were working near a drainage ditch that had water flowing in it 5 inches deep.

Couldn’t find it in her book, but she was sure it was in there

It’s time for these gun and ammo manufacturers to stop business with the government of the state of connecticut.

These government thugs shouldn’t be able to use weapons that the public is denied access to.

Connecticut needs fewer firearms manufacturers and more welfare collecting minorities anyways, sanctimonious, yankee, liberals that they are.

These gun haters are no good racists. They know that ridding society of guns will hurt the black gang banger the most. Anyone who wants to take those illegal guns from the blacks are racist bigots.

The gun grabbers won’t be satisfied until every private citizen is disarmed and the only people with firearms are the government’s jack-booted goons.

In the mining industry, I have seen the same thing from MSHA inspectors. If you try to get a specific answer to a question such as how high a worker has to be from the ground before fall protection is required (to mention but one), you cannot. They will write citations if they feel like it.
