Army Brigadier General Martin P. Schweitzer received a "memoranda of concern" following a lurid set of emails between him and another general, according to documents obtained by The Washington Post.
Schweitzer was briefing Brigadier Gen. Jeffrey Sinclair on a recent meeting he had with tea party Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.) in 2011.

“First — she is smoking hot,” Schweitzer wrote. “Second — briefing went well . . . she was engaging . . . had done her homework. She wants us to know she stands with us and will work/push to get the Fort Bragg family resourced.”

We expect many to be near robots, perfect, never telling an off color joke, commenting on the looks of a woman, making a value judgement on some behavior or culture, or becoming intoxicated to the point of embarrassing themselves, getting a DWI etc. That behavior is inexcusable, but being an officer an dressed up in leather at a gay pride rally, or being a senior officer in the state department and leading the way in a gay pride rally in Europe and being photographed in a skin tight belly shirt with super extra short shorts and printed all over the media, that's all fine today.
