Isn’t Broun the one that left ridiculed for his statements about evolution vs creation?

Yes. Broun called evolution, the Big Bang theory and embryology (huh?) "Lies from the pits of Hell!!!" He will probably cost us retiring Saxby Chambliss' Senate seat to Michelle Nunn (D). Yep. I said it.

“So, you are okay with electing someone who has skipped out on paying for his debt?”

No, I am not. But we have bankruptcy laws so that we don’t have poor houses and debtor’s prisons like years ago. I don’t know the circumstances. Many business are started, fail and go bankrupt. And the vendors write off the losses.

Would I prefer a man like Abraham Lincoln or Harry Truman, who paid off every dime of what they owed, yes. But they are a rare breed, and Lindsey Graham is far too dangerous a man to keep in power. I wouldn’t quibble over something like a bankruptcy (as long as it didn’t involve corruption) it the choice was between Graham and Bright.

Technically that's Paul Broun, MD...

Beyond Georgia name recognition and the "D" after her name, the Nunn is an empty pants-suit.

If the bedwetters at Salon are against them, I’m all for them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Christian right possibly doesn’t understand or respect the federal government’s limited powers and wants to use constitutionally nonexistent federal power to favor and win votes from likewise-minded Christians, just like Dems are using it to favor their supporters to win votes.

After all, one of the very few aspects of intrastate activity that Congress actually has daily control over (no Sunday delivery), as evidenced by the Constitution’s Clause 7 of Section 8 of Article I, is the US Mail service. So if you really want to serve your state, get elected as state lawmakers so that you can exercise wide 10th Amendment-protected powers to do so.

I'm happy they published this list.

It helps me prioritize to whom to send my donations.

Caused by a government tax man that wanted to collect money for a property that was closed and being sold... research it. I don’t have the time but I did read about it months ago on FR.

Yes, I’m in Georgia and I hear Georgia Freepers here swear by Broun and how he’s the best. Honestly, I do not know.

Until a week or two ago, I’d have said my own Congressman, Doug Collins, was a stalwart conservative and would vote for him in November. But that’s gone now, he voted with Hank Johnson and John Lewis for Paul Ryan’s budget deal. Collins is dead to me now, even after I’ve told him in every email to him NO AMNESTY, NO DEMOCRAT BUDGETS.

With Chambliss retiring after having been a RINO TRAITOR,and Isakson nose-to-butt RINO TRAITOR, too, and all the other good ole boy cronies here, now I’m in the mood for a young buck with gonads and a young family he cares about what happens to them, or a woman.

Karen Handel is running, and I like her. She was an Executive with SG Komen, but quit when they waffled back and forth on continued funding to Planned Parent Abortions, Inc. But, both she and Broun have less than a million in cash while Gingrey and Kingston have 5 times that.

I’m afraid the money will be with the two higher funded candidates. I don’t believe one word about how media thinks that mouse of a daughter of Sam Nunn’s will win.

My two cents, not made of copper - mostly tungsten and worthless.

The Christian Right is not only an existential threat to the future of the Republican Party, it’s also an existential threat to our secular democracy, for it wishes to transform America into a tyrannical theocracy governed by biblical law.

Goodness, just wait until they have to live under the rule of the Son of God during the Millennial reign. These people don’t understand that the reason we have what we have in America is all because of a bunch of Christian guys who understood what evil was and understood the human heart.

>> The GOP establishment has always had a monopoly on money, thanks to its unfettered access to the Wall Street donor class.

Lie!

You’re a danger to truth, Werleman.
