PHOENIX — Calling for the closure of Fort Huachuca and personal penalties against generals, Robin Silver and environmental groups have filed a lawsuit in federal court to force a determination on how the post is impacting the San Pedro River.

“Ultimately, the question is, can we shut down Fort Huachuca?” Silver said in an interview with Capitol Media Services on Tuesday.

Silver has been a Pain in our Butt since 1988.

Still want to see his FBI file and Military Record, if he even has one.

I’m for DownSizing DC!

But not for eliminating Ft. Hoochie Koochie!

At one time I went to Sierra Vista every other week. Distributor sales calls. I like the people, climate and the area.

Was never on the actual military base. But knew several of the officers then. That was prior to 1986.

Not yet.

Robin Silver has only been at this for 2 decades. Ft. Huachuca has been here for over a century and we’re not planning on giving up easily.

Fort Huachuca is the only place I’ve ever been where the rattlesnakes were protected, and if you were caught killing one of the little sweethearts you were subject to both fine and imprisonment.

Ft. Huachuca has been here for over a century

I spent three weeks there digging holes back around Oct. of 1969 prior to deployment to Central America.........I hope you enjoy the trees

Ft. Huachuca is a pretty important part of our first-tier support activities. Would be very difficult to reposition/realign and it would cost a fortune.

Who in their right mind is going to pay $4.50 a month just to read the Sierra Vista Herald on line???

They should have a bake sale or sell some snake skins or sponsor some floating trips down the San Pedro River.

If you close Ft. Huachucha, Sierra Vista will become a Tombstone without the tourists.

Got a current photo of this scum. Last time I saw him he looked like had just escaped from a 1960’s Hippie Compound.
