Another embattled Democrat, Sen. Mary Landrieu (La.), sought to put some distance between herself and the president on Tuesday, ahead of the meeting. “I think the president is more focused on running the country than helping me in my reelection,” she said.

They don't call it a 'retreat' fer nuthin'.

These Dems are ripe for the picking.

Here’s the “secret” Democrat campaign plan:

-War on women
-Economic inequality
-Fund a libertarian to bleed R votes and win with a Clintonian plurality

Any Republican failing to understand this should be flogged.

You forgot “bluff John Boehner into passing amnesty so that the bulk of Republican voters stay home”.

“I think the president is more focused on running the country than helping me in my reelection,” she said.

AHOTUS spends a lot of time doing fundraisers. What Landrieu may have meant was the fact that none of that money is ever ear-marked for senate or congressional candidates.

I'm just glad I'm a conservative, and not a republican.

He’s a lot like the Clintons in that way, he’s a campaign funds vacuum. The proplem for the rest of the moochers is that he doesn’t like to share the wealth. It all goes one way... another lesson learned from Chicago and the mob.

This move is fairly easy to decipher.

Obama is all in for retention of the Senate because he doesn’t want to be impeached.

Without GOP leadership of the Senate, there’s no way to actually impeach him.

If the voter turn out is light in New Orleans, Mary Landrieu is toast for sure. There would never be a DemocRAT elected in LA if it wasn’t for New Orleans. But, Obama is not on the ballot this November so there will NOT be a lot of excitement in New Orleans on Election Day, November 4, 2014.

Apparently he was a RINO when he served in the Senate and he’s doing this to help the Democrat win. This is the kind of crap that can keep the Dems in control of the Senate.

Since Dems have tons of money due to their “one percenter” patrons who feel the need to control us unruly peons, you can bet they will be funding a lot of 3rd party candidates.

It worked well for McAwful in Virginia.
