On December 9, 1981, at approximately 3:55 a.m., Officer Danny Faulkner, a five year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department, made a traffic stop at Locust Street near Twelfth Street. The car stopped by Officer Faulkner was being driven by William Cook. After making the stop, Danny called for assistance on his police radio and requested a police wagon to transport a prisoner. Unbeknownst to him, William Cooks brother, Wesley (aka Mumia Abu-Jamal) was across the street. As Danny attempted to handcuff William Cook, Mumia Abu-Jamal ran from across the street and shot the officer in the back......

Our country is rolling away from us. There may not be enough of us who understand this, but even if there are, there may not be enough of us willing to stick our comfortable necks out for freedom and liberty when things like this happen (which is now on a daily basis)....
Another racist, left wing, extremist pig in the DOJ. Just what this country needs. Thanks low information voters! You retards!
Is anyone surprised by this? This is what the Left celebrates.
And elected Republicans cower in a corner somewhere peeing their pants. Idiots
I hate to say it, but as a lawyer, I sort of see their point. I have no doubt that this nominee (like all of 0bama’s other nominees) is a radical extremist who belongs nowhere near the DOJ. BUT, I strongly believe that lawyers should not be demonized based on who they have represented - even the worst of the worst (and believe me, Mumia is the worst of the worst) deserves representation. So, I don’t really see the point of having the widow of the victim of the lawyer’s former client testify against the lawyer’s nomination.
Besides, from what I’ve read, there is more than enough other stuff to sink this guy.
This why we always lose. The left knows how to use power, and they aren’t afraid to use it.
A bunch of us would be willing but organizing into a organized force takes leaders with a vision and ‘stick to it’iveness” to see the “confrontation thru”. Beck was good a galvanizing a “tea party force” at his Washington Rallies that did shake the parties to the core but he just shrank away from what he started. The tea party eruption showed just what was still alive in the American populace and it scared the establishment. We must find each other and organize and become adept at isolating the informants who would try to disrupt our organizing together.
That good leadership hasn’t followed thru, should not be taken by the established parties that the Tea party is dead or not to be taken seriously. The impulse of dissatisfaction in American conservatives has not been quenched, despite the “doubling down” by tyrannical government bureaucracies or by sneering media pundits.
Most of us still have the genetic and latent spiritual stock that caused our fore-fathers to seize their freedoms from Great Britain’s empire. Should God will it and prepare the hearts of those who would lead it, those who are righteous or at least would be counted among the righteous could again restore this nation to her previous constitutional moorings.
The first step would be to rediscover the vision that founded America, then to communicate that vision as far and wide and with as much repetition as is possible. Progressives use the “big lie” spoken repeatedly to distort the comprehension and thinking of the populace.
We must counter with the use of “the big truth”, and be just as repetitive, and as earnestly bold in proclaiming it, shrugging off the slings and arrows of scorn. We must be seen speaking boldly with corrupt judges and bureaucracies even at risk of our freedoms, but in ways that are so publically splashed, that folks would question even if the media distorts the truth of such incidents.
If I were to call Leahy that part of the human anatomy he most closely represents my post might be deleted. So you will just have to use your imagination. However, he was, is, and will always be one.
The only outcry being heard is from Mark Levin who was spitting mad when he pointed out that Diane Feinstein, the heroin of the gun control lobby voted to confirm this racist defender of the man who executed 24 year old Daniel Faulkner as he lay wounded in the street.
A caller to Levin's show also pointed out that Debo Adegbile has been serving as chief council of the Senate Judicial Committee for over a year thanks to Patrick Leahy who is best known for leaking classified documents containing sensitive military tactical information to the media.
“Our country is rolling away from us. There may not be enough of us who understand this, but even if there are, there may not be enough of us willing to stick our comfortable necks out for freedom and liberty when things like this happen (which is now on a daily basis)....”
I think you may be surprised.
“The left knows how to use power, and they arent afraid to use it.”
No they don’t know how to use power, for they are governed from their own animal lusts which are short sighted...hence their policies are destructive and not constructive over time. They take from those who have because they don’t have the patience to develop policies that encourage the building of new business enterprises that do better to lateralize wealth, opportunity, and political access. Thus the society pyramids then collapses upon itself.
They recklessly use power, built by lies and deceit perpetrated upon a weary productive class, supported by lawless layabouts whose gods are their bellies. To keep order when the stolen monies from the productive are used up, lethal force and internment camps will need to be utilized.
Conservatives respect power and its limits as bounded by law and the Constitution. What we don’t now have the stomach for, is that to restore the balances of law defined power, the shedding of blood may be called for. Certainly the personal loss of fortunes, reputations, and freedoms may be at minimum what we may need to undergo to restore our nation again.
Boy, I sure would love to be surprised and hope I will be. Im in northern CA so admittedly, I’m not surrounded by like minded people.
But what are people waiting for? are we all gonna run to our windows on the last day and shout that we’re fed up and not gonna take it anymore?
Point is that it’s time to come out of the closet for those who are waiting for things to get “really, really, really bad.”
Each small injustice that we let slide by, like this one, only strengthens the enemies resolve. we must express our outrage every day and stand up for freedom and liberty all the time.
That’s all very nice, but using power and respecting it are two different things. It gets “used” all the time without any “respect.” In fact, it’s been going on for all of recorded history.
“we must express our outrage every day and stand up for freedom and liberty all the time.”
That’s a fact.
“Some people are alive simply because it’s illegal to kill them.”
You would think that the senate minority leader would be screaming his head off and rending his garments. But he won't. This is just one of the reasons the POS needs to go.
If this was reversed, what do you think the demorats would do?
