As the Winter Games get underway in Sochi, Google Inc. is quietly but vibrantly adding its voice to the chorus of U.S. companies speaking out against Russias law that restricts gay-rights activities.
The California-based Internet search company transformed its home page into a show of support for gay rights Thursday with a Google Doodle depicting athletes against a rainbow-colored backdrop.

Google is run by the beast.
Note they didn’t include a symbol for the one Olympic sport most dominated by gays, Men’s Figure Skating.
For crying out loud.
Maybe Google could show real support by refusing to do business with or in Russia?
Naw.
Go back 4 or 5 decades. Explain to someone that America’s most biggest goal for Russia is that they need to embrace homosexuality. And that America was run by a gay moslem Marxist pothead, who has high level members of his administration supporting Che and Mao. That there is a purge within the US Military against people who are Christians or who love the constitution.
And then explain to them that Russia is embracing Christianity. Nutty time we are in.
They’ll see their downfall one day, just like MySpace and other such web giants did. F Google and their agenda.
Stand strong, Russia. God is with you.
yeah huh in context
they we us someone used to say that about here
Just love the rainbow icon on Gaygle. /sarc
They ARE the Beast.
Overall, I’ve found Bing slightly less PC and generally political. Search results are just about identical.
As in Blades of Glory?
Well said. Imagine if O’Reilly asked Obama if he was gay? Now that would have made it one interesting Super Bowl. Hope someone forces Hilary out of her closet.

a show of support for gay rights
No such thing as “gay” Homosexual rights. There are human rights which belong to each and every human. No one has a right to be a pervert. That is a choice. All choices have consequences.
google is so damned libtard
what to expect when founded by two progressive anti Christians who see America through PC politically correct lenses...and then some
they skew and shape the data and their format as well as any politburo apartchik could hope
why do folks like Brin and Page dominate the macro access
just coincidence

Haven’t tried that one, but there are many including DuckDuckGo. So far haven’t found any that give anywhere near as useful results as Google or Bing. Anyway, I use the donottrackme extension.
I’ve been using it for the past year - works fine.
Yeah, I was thinking of Binging instead of Googling. But remember that Microsoft is the MS in MSNBC. Maybe I’ll take more bites of the Apple, which appears to be out of favor with the Obama minions.
