Sad Colonel, the Dog-of-War Captured by Taliban Thursday, February 6, 2014

By: Cathy Burke

A video featuring a forlorn war-equipped dog, captured by the Taliban, is provoking uproar online.

In the footage, gunmen show off weapons while the subdued dog, wearing a vest with a GPS device, small camera and other equipment is being held by a chain, the Telegraph reported.

The capture of the dog, identified as a Belgian Malinois named Colonel, is believed to be the first by the Taliban of a military working dog.

The video was put up on the website of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and publicized by a series of tweets boasting of a Dec. 23 operation in which "6 US terrorists" were killed and "equip seized."

Dog & equipment were seized in Alingar district after failed raid by enemy on 23-12-13 which left 6 invaders dead — Abdulqahar Balkhi (@ABalkhi) February 6, 2014

"We can confirm that a military working dog went missing following an ISAF mission in December, 2013," the U.S.-led International Assistance Security Force said in a statement.

There will be more outrage about the dog than there is about Bergdahl, who has been abandoned by the government.

Get on with the surrender ceremony.

The thugs are seen displaying U.S. made military grenades and rifles captured.

“Early reports had suggested the dog, called Colonel, was from the US but sources in Washington have denied this.

” The dog was taken during an operation on December 23 last year east of Kabul.

Captain Richard Holloway, 29, was killed during the mission. He was from the Royal Engineers Regiment but served with the SAS.

Capt Holloway has been described by his commanding officer as a “natural leader”, whose “tactical ability commanded wide respect”.

He added: “His judgement was un-erring, his enthusiasm was infectious and his standards never dropped.”

One of the many reasons I hate Muslim pigs so much is their attitude toward dogs.

If that were my service dog, I would do everything I could to get him back from those %^&%&%^& pigs and then kill as many of the bastards I could get in my sights.

The dog is just doing what he was trained to do. I hope they rescue him.

The doomed dogs of war: What happens to military dogs when they are no longer needed?

By: Adrian Lee
Published: Sat, September 21, 2013

OLD habits die hard for Treo, a retired army dog who saved the lives of countless squaddies in Afghanistan by sniffing out hidden roadside bombs.

I don't think 'Dear Leader' will be too concerned about the fate of the military dog, just as dealt with our murdered heroes in Benghazi.

Not mooselimbs. They’ll all take a turn then behead and eat the sad looking pooch. It appears he’s aware of his fate.

One of the many reasons I hate Muslim pigs so much is their attitude toward dogs.

My feelings exactly. It's sport to torture dogs in many Muslim countries. There is a photo making the rounds this week (I won't post a link to it here--I saw it by accident and wish I hadn't) of a Muslim grinning and holding up a cross on which someone had crucified a small dog. You know everything you need to know about a culture by the way it treats animals, especially dogs.

I had to travel to Malaysia on business and was sitting on the balcony of my hotel at 5:00am (jet lag) when the call to Muslim prayers was broadcast across the city. The only response I could hear in the quietness was the howling of dogs all over the city.

I just laughed.

They are really fond of that method of execution, aren’t they?

I wish they all had one neck. It would be better to slit all their collective throats.

Sadistic bastards who torture animals and rape little girls should all die.

Remember that Moose Limbs sodomize animals to exert dominance. Not just an urban legend, its the truth.
