Rob Ford has been beset upon ever since he was first elected . Dont underestimate him . He was and is a very popular mayor and might handily get reelected. He campaigned on stopping the gravy train and he has done his best to do just that.
The liberals and the Toronto Star hate him and have everything they could to ruin him .Its not happening, he has more support then ever . Watch how many people want to get their picture taken with him .He is a rock star
To which I say amen, except I hope his numerous enemies do underestimate him. He is now embroiled in the controversy over his objection to what is described as an LGBT flag over City Hall. The purveyors of this life style, wanted to go in the face of Putin. This you will probably know.
He had to back off and allow this flag to remain. The fact that he even objected in the first place has caused a firestorm. The television media, supported by tax dollars are all over this. Cries of "homophobia" etc. All he said was that Canadians should concentrate on supporting Canadian athletes, not an agenda. the This will blow over. I live to see the day he is elected again.
