Ingraham Battles George Will, Fox Panel: GOP ‘Elites’ Pushing Immigration Reform
Mediaite ^ | 2/9/14 | Evan McMurry

Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham battled the rest of the Fox News Sunday panel over immigration, arguing that immigration reform and current enforcement of immigration laws were weakening the American workforce, even as her fellow panelists countered that reform would bolster the economy.

“I think what we’re seeing here is a split inside the Republican Party between two staunch conservatives,” host Chris Wallace said, going on to ply Ingraham with a Wall Street Journal editorial that called flinching on reform “de facto amnesty.”

“As far as I can tell, the Wall Street Journal is on the side of Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, Pat Leahy and La Raza,” Ingraham said. “I think they should put down their dogeared copy of Fountainhead and live in the real world…Do we care about American workers at all?”

“You’re the one who’s arguing the AFL-CIO argument,” Will said, noting that the “economic dynamism” aided by immigrants would help sustain the American workforce.

“So why have a border at all?” Ingraham said. “There is no will to enforce the border. There is no faith in this administration to do it. The Republican elites and the Democratic elites agree, and the people are revolting across this country.”

Wallace and Juan Williams then challenged Ingraham with the fact that deportations under the Obama administration were at record highs; she countered that Obama’s executive order to defer action against undocumented young people in the summer of 2012 belied this argument.

Glad she re-found her principles. Cause the guy she backed last election was all for illegals...what having them working at his house and all.

So I should trust her why again?

THIS, my friends is what we, the people are up against day after day after day!

FOX panel....(supposedly conservative) taking on Laura Ingraham

O’Reilly does rhe same thing......what is his quote, 68% WANT immigration reform....
....yeah and I bet if there is a mythical 68%, it is comprised of all the chamber of commerce honchos.and numerous businesses who can’ t run their companies without the cheaply paid illegals

The rest of us in flyover country......you know, the millions of hardworking ( when there was work). American citizens are being ignored and lied to

Is this not the Alinsky method....tell a lie often enough and it becomes the truth

Way to go Laura,I think Will wet his silk underpants, you think someone would bring up the fact that the party that champions the slaughter of 55 million American workers through abortion,is now forced to push amnesty so they can rape more taxpayers to cover their theft for the past 50 years

So I should trust her why again?

Maybe because the GOP nominee was the only alternative to Barack Obama and she thought it that important that he be defeated.

Did you?

George Will is such a RINO tool. I can’t stand the guy. Never could. Laura Ingraham was spot on as usual.

Not into replacing one lib with another. Especially when their pre presidential records so closely mirror each other.

He backed everything you are supposedly against. Abortion. Illegals. Gun control. Cronyism. He spent more time castrating conservatives than Obama. Thats reality. Accept it.

I wonder. Are they or are they not counting people turned away at the border as deportations where that was not done before?

Sorry, but Mitt Romney had the strongest anti ILLEGAL immigration position of any - ANY - Republican candidate in the last 30 years.

“The Republican elites and the Democratic elites agree, and the people are revolting across this country.””

She got one thing right; a huge number of people across this country are revolting!

I’m still waiting for the so called smartest among us,the media to put the IRS scandal and the Citizens United case where they belong,TOGETHER,look at the time line,Remember,Obama was livid when the Supreme court ruled in favor, that corporations could donate as well as unions to campaigns,he berated the justices at the State of The Union,it was I believe a month later when they went on the war path against tea party groups.
This was and is a personal vendetta by Obama,as so many of his decisions are

That's not everything. I doubt he would have the Muslim Brotherhood represented in the White House.

Thats reality. Accept it.

No, that's your conclusion. Even so, I didn't vote for Romney simply because in California my vote for him would have been futile. So I voted for the AIP candidate. Had I been in a state where the vote was close, I would have done otherwise if only for the benefit of our soldiers.
