An openly gay women's ski jumper says protests against Russia's law banning homosexual "propaganda" aimed at minors aren't worth it because "no one cares."
Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria, who is a gold medal favorite in the women's normal hill, married partner Isabel Stolz last year.
After training Sunday, she said, "I don't think it's a good idea to make protests here, no one cares ... I know Russia will go and make the right steps in the future and we should give them time."

I think NBC has pretty much drive audiences away with their all homosexual all the time protest coverage. Advertisers should be furious.
I personally am getting GAY FATIGUE. Is anyone here feeling the same way?
Heck the advertisers (see GM) are all doing pro-gay ads.
Yes And this priapism over Michael Sam is the latest
Whoa! Do not post her picture, I think even Laz would have problems hitting it.
Spot on. Our family usually gathers ‘round the TV to watch the Olympics. Not this year. I cannot stand watching this year. Bob Costas and NBC have turned this into the homosexual games with their prurient interest in homosexuality and their intense desire to try and mainstream it. You can just see it. Their driving goal is to talk about it over and over again, just constantly forcing the issue.
We have decided not to watch this year. Nice job, NBC.
I got sodomite fatigue over a decade ago when I noticed EVERY new show on TV had a gay character snuck into it.
It’s not just you.
Interesting how the usual suspects have conflated a law against homosexual propaganda aimed at minors (a very narrow set of proscribed behaviours), and “anti-gay law” (which suggests something much more extensive and draconian). Interesting, but not surprising; given how experienced these usual suspects are at propagating propaganda on these matters.
Advertisers like Chevrolet can't complain as they are promoting homosexual marriage in ads airing during the Olympics.
Yep, we started to watch the opening ceremonies...and within 10 minutes, Ol’ PinkEye Costas was talking about whether or not Russia DESERVED the games, and THEN he started an interview with the CLOWN currently occupying the Oval Office.
We turned the TV off of the Olympics and HAVE NOT TURNED IT ON SINCE.
NBC wants to worship sodomy and Obama, they’ll do it without our patronage. Shove it.
I haven’t watched the Olympics in years but I thought the homosexuals already had their own “gay Olympics”. Why do we need two of them?
Naa.. Laz would just have to borrow a mack truck.
wait.. I think that might have happened already.
You not only one
I notice on Deadline Hollyweird forum the ratings are down they even with 2010 Vancouver Olympics
God forbid that the actual Olympics take any attention away from the gay agenda, even for a minute.
Here's a decent picture. In most of the pics, she looks distinctly athletic; but what do you expect from a world-class athlete? I'd think I was doing very well indeed--- believe me --- if I looked like her.
Homo fatigue is an understatement!
Speaking of which...what in the Sam Hill is up with Costas’ glasses? He looks right into the camera and it’s as if his right eye is twice as large as his left.
It's obvious beyond words to anyone who dwells in the real world. We've sunk so far. Influencing minors to have any kind of sex at all should be banned.
Ironically enough, gay athletes have to settle for the “Gay Games” because the IOC sued them over the use of the word “Olympics”.
News flash, honey: they already have.
Nobody cares who they sleep with. They should just shut up and leave normal people alone.
I don’t care about what you like to do in bed. Just stop with all the announcements.
No one cares....now there’s the understatement of the year.
No one cares... Hmm. He says that like it’s a bad thing.
Actually, in another example of Americans’ total dependence on the media and culture for their educational and information needs, it is extremely detrimental, in fact, to teach sexuality to anyone under the age of puberty. it is one reason parents used to maintain surveillance on their kids’ companions.
It is most detrimental to a child’s sexual health, and permanently so, to expose them to perverse sex practices.
It is abusive.
Putin happens to be correct.
Parents must actually, in order to raise healthy children, keep them away from private use of the internet until puberty.
Is that possible?
Not if parents refuse to raise their children.
Parents who actually raise their children, do prevent them from exposure. They have a common room internet access, they keep an eye on the kids’ teachers, (taking them out of public school is practically the only way), not going to nor having in the house r rated for sex movies, commercials, PPV and the like, consorting with nice friends whose children have at least minimal exposure, at least a desire to prevent access to pornography (a lot of people are unaware through trusting too much), and the biggest one, no social media nor data plans on devices until they are well on their way to forging a path to, and taking an interest in, their future, focusing on academics, hanging around with future and goal oriented friends, maybe telling them they’re going to be responsible for college costs. that gets them paying attention to the right things quick.
dont’ dream of bringing them to an MD who has private time with them. any MD who answers the question, ‘when does a girl get a full exam’, with anything other that, ‘after she’s married, there’s no risk factor’, is off the list.
And the kicker: Not treating them like they’re anything but good. reduce the mystery, answer all questions, they’ll ask when they’re ready, and they’ll find out plenty from friends and creepy associates.
And definitely no sterilization. If all the kids are watching a particular movie because it’s funny, then ok, when they’re old enough.
21 Jump street is perfectly awful, but when they’re older, and they don’t want to feel like a freak, what the heck? and it is hilarious, but Jonah Hill can be GROSS, ditto the elf guy, but with a fast forward, the other guys is very funny. and just not keeping only those boring narrative Christian movies around. Legally Blonde has gross parts but the theme is important.
But for authorities to teach about sex and perverted sex, is pure child abuse, Yes. And I have qualifications in child development.
From what I remember about the USSR. Playboy and Penthouse weren’t allowed either.
AH HA! Just as I thought. There is no Sex Education allowed in public schools. Not Straight or Gay. So it’s fair. Unless you’re “special”.
It really stinks that I have to salute the Russians for there stance on homosexuality.
You are not alone.
Encouraging minors to have gay sex should be banned. Anyone convicted of doing this should be labeled a sex offender.
RE: From what I remember about the USSR. Playboy and Penthouse werent allowed either.
All that changed after the Soviet Union fell. One of our first exports to Russia and the other countries when their union dissolved were those two magazines...
Instead of Sprite and Coke its 7-Up and RC Cola from now on produced by the Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group (Plano, TX).
Well boo hoo hoo.
It’s not worth the time listening to you dear one because it’s been said zillions of times and why don’t you become a human, gay or not gay and get over it! Who gives a rats patuuty what your sexual preference is? You may love goats or pigs tomorrow! Just shut up and compete or go to the house!
Oh your right No one Cares!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is right. No one cares.
How do you be “openly gay?” Is it a perfume you put on? Is it like a spray-on tan?
She’s right, no one cares, unless you rub it in their faces.
I haven’t watched any of it ... don’t like NBC...
Bob Costas winking at me all the time is creepy.
LOL - that would be creepy..
NBC replaced Costas with Ephialtes from the movie "300"
