DENVER (AP) — A Colorado parolee suspected of killing the state's prisons chief and a pizza delivery man forced the delivery man moments before his death to read a rambling statement that seemed to denounce prison officials for putting inmates into solitary confinement, according to federal prosecutors.
Prosecutors say Evan Ebel recorded the statement shortly before shooting Nathan Leon to death March 17. Ebel is suspected of shooting and killing Colorado prisons chief Tom Clements two days later.

Inmates who stay in segregation for that long usually do it because they are afraid of the general population. I've seen several inmates who did everything they could to remain in segregation for years. Every one of them was a coward with a big mouth and BB balls.

Colorado made mistakes in paroling a known violent killer, and almost as soon as he was released he met a woman and pressured into straw-purchasing a gun for him which he then used to murder people immediately.
Over on Huffington Post, the commentary about this case is puh-RETTY slim to non-existent. Liberals want to talk about anything else, pronto.
