Where just months ago Republicans brimmed with pride over Chris Christies landslide re-election, doubts about his prospects as a potential presidential candidate have begun creeping into the minds of some donors in key states, according to some GOP fundraisers. [ ]
There are influential donors who are giving him a second and third look, Herberger said of Christie. Where they would have been this is the guy two months ago, I think a lot of people are giving him a second look and keeping their powder dry.
But that could change, too, said Herberger. Theres so much time between now and the primaries.

Sarah = the anti-Christie
It’s always about the donors.
Fat boi won’t escape jawsay.
I hope we never hear of that loud mouth slob ever again!
And I thought Christie had about zero chance of landing the #1 spot on the Republican ticket in 2016, even before traffic-cone-gate.
I can't imagine that anyone smart enough to amass the resources to become an "influential donor" could be dumb enough to think that Christie would get the 2A/cultural conservative Republican primary voters to vote for him, or to get the 2A/cultural conservative voters out to the polls to vote in November 2016 in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Virginia, Florida and New Hampshire. IMO, Christie was never either nominable or electable.
(This is the kind of political wisdom that bills at $350/hr??????)
Who are these bozos who think he’s got the slightest chance? Fools and their money.
Hee ain’t GOT NOOO STEEENKINGG PROSPECTS!!!!!
Worried? Thats a joke. Crispy is done put a fork in him.
I have supported Christie on this board, but I would never vote for him.
I will vote for a candidate from the Tea Party.
Sarah Palin. Ted Cruz. Someone like that.
GOP donors wake the * up. Stop trying to sell out America.
Bring back American growth, and American strength.
