The good news is that my Rep won’t vote for Boehner or Cantor to be Speaker. The bad news is he will vote for Pelosi or Hoyer.

Well, that' something, I guess. :^(

“In the general, I will always vote R.”

The only reason the Republicans are around is due to people not adhering to this dumb strategy to always vote for one of the 2 parties in power.

Even Lincoln changed from being a Whig to a Republican to get elected and eventually the Whigs went away.

Morale is do not sit on this type of strategy. If the GOP is stupid enough to disregard the Tea Party and the Tea Party runs candidates, conservatives will ultimately replace the GOP.

What will be amusing is to watch the RINOs try to figure out which party they will vote for, the lib Dems or the conservative Tea Party.

Your position is absolutely reasonable. I’m not far from joining you ... but I haven’t yet.

I used to do the same until I decided battered wife syndrome was no longer for me and took a baseball bat to my tormentors skull.

Felt good.

Since Jesus Christ isn’t on any ballot, if you won’t vote for the lesser of two evils, then you’ll never vote again.

That is a ridiculous statement in the context of this discussion.

“Since Jesus Christ isn’t on any ballot, if you won’t vote for the lesser of two evils, then you’ll never vote again.”

If you think the ‘lesser of two evils’ is a profound statement, consider this: Ronald Reagan was the ‘lesser of two evils” since he signed bills into law that granted amnesty, raised income tax rates, and increased the national debt.

Given a choice between voting for Reagan or a Democrat, would you vote for the ‘lesser of two evils’ or would ‘you stand on your principles’?

Once it is the general election, you can choice to vote for the ‘lesser of two evils’ or cast your vote for the ‘greater of two evils’. And, no, you can’t just not vote for that is a vote for the ‘greater evil’.

You don't get to control what I do with my vote.

And lots of folks here aren't buying your crap.

You enable liberal republicans by voting for them. It's you guaranteed voters that the liberal establishment republicans rely on to keep getting elected, so they can screw all of us.

No more. Me, and many others won't vote for your liberal republicans, even if that means a democrat wins.

They may as well, as have a liberal republican that will give the dems what they want.

You've got all the old standby canards and clichés down pat, Dug. Boehner would be so proud.

Given a choice between voting for Reagan or a Democrat, would you vote for the ‘lesser of two evils’ or would ‘you stand on your principles’?

Gimme a Reagan, then we'll talk. Til then, enjoy the tortilla crumbs.

If you think the ‘lesser of two evils’ is a profound statement,

No, I don't consider it a "profound statement". Just a statement of fact. I'm not going to argue esoteric semantics with you, it's pointless.

It's quite simple. Liberal "Republicans" (actually Democrats) are blackmailing us. I refuse to continue to be blackmailed. Will that make everything nice? No. Will it make it worse? Probably not, but if so, it is short term. Liberal RINOs and the elitist party leaders MUST be shown that they can no longer blackmail us. In the longer term, nothing else will work.

And BTW, the republic is already lost, not too far off serious SHTF is coming. Those are immutable facts. Mitch McConnell et al have sold the republic down the river and reelecting them isn't going to change that or delay it. Face that fact and then then decide what to do. What I am going to do is not reward the traitorous bastard for selling us out.
