Is John Boehner Joe Banner?

The House GOP again collapsed in the absence of leadership today, a complete mess of missed opportunities and unforced errors.

No strategy. No tactics. No repeal of the terrible cut to the retirment benefits of active duty military that was the lowpoint of the House GOP tenure in the majority since January 2010–a slap in the face of the military that fought the war for the past dozen years.

Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam fired his front office today, including CEO Joe Banner, after a miserable season, but the House GOP seems doomed to be chained to the gang that can’t shoot straight until November, hoping to win election on the promise that the other side would be even worse, but of course the cut to the career military was the GOP’s idea and so was the massive Farm Bill.

Promises are being made today that the military COLA cut will be reversed. Just like the promises that were made after the Ryan-Murray budget was revealed in December, promises that Hal Rogers, the Republican in charge of Appropriations, broke last month when he unveiled a trillion-plus budget that couldn’t find the $6 billion to put back into the military retirement. The Republican Rick Roll of the career military is still on the books. It is owned by the GOP. Whether Harry Reid ever allows it to be wiped away remains in great doubt.

And the GOP House is in the ditch with everyone, with zip accomplished despite a president with falling approval ratings. Reid runs rings around the House GOP every week, and when all the House has to do is nothing they screw that up as well as with the cuts to the military.

This is the best the House GOP can do? Really? Screw the military and run away because a snowstorm is coming?

Whenever the rare opportunity to reduce the size of the Spendaholic Federal Government approaches a decision point, the unchallenged and therefore invincible Obamanation Congressional Format, ( OCF ), unfolds flawlessly as follows:

* Permissive, weak and cowardly Speaker “Doormat” Boehner proclaims that THIS time he will protect and defend the US Constitution;
* “Assistant Doormat” Cantor will nod like the bobble head lap dog that he is;
* Cave-In, Con-Artist Ryan will make a side deal with his Pelosi Pals;
* “Rubberstamp” Reid will then approve whatever the Pelosi Pals have shamed Ryan into ramming through the House;
* Lazy, Anti-Work Obama will say “The OCF worked again! That was sooooo EASY!”
* The Left Stream Media will gently boo Boehner, while mildly applauding his “Bipartisan” Leadership;
* “Doormat” Boehner will then slink off sobbing, relieved that he dodged another major tongue-lashing from the Left Stream Media;
* Karl Rove will go on FOX and say “The Moderate House Republicans are showing that they are willing to work with Obama;”
* Krauthammer will go on FOX and say “Unbelievable;”
* The Conservative voters will say:
*** “Yup, permissive RINOs are no match for the Commies, Socialists and Democrats in Congress.
*** We are doomed to feel sorry for ourselves, again.
*** What shall we do?
*** Sigh - - - - .”

BTW, Boehner, Cantor and Ryan are all heavily favored to win re-election to their well-worn House seats in 2014 - - - - .

The voters in Boehner’s Ohio House District vote Boehner into the US House, and the US House Members vote to choose THEIR Speaker.

Weak, cowardly, permissive “Doormat” Boehner thus fairly represents our weak, cowardly, permissive, doormat RINOs.

The voters in Ohio are simply overjoyed that the US House RINO Members have loyally continued to keep in place a weak, cowardly, permissive, doormat Speaker who has ALWAYS caved in to Obama.

Boehner’s Speakership is safe, as our House RINOs just love to Cave In to Commies, Socialists, Democrats, and especially to Obama.

Oops, I feel a “Boehner” coming on! Please pass the Kleenex! Sob!

No, No! The Charmin is for an Obama!

Kleenex is for a Boehner! Sob, sob, sob - - - - - .

The House RINOs have given up again, ——everything seems to be in place now - - - - .

We even have “Doormat” Boehner in place as the whiney, wimpy, Whimper-Speaker!

FORWARD!, into the bottomless Abyss of Obamanation!

Yo-Dee-Ho! Yo-— Ho!
Yo-Dee-Ho! Yo-— Ho!
Yo-Dee-Ho! Yo-— Ho!

Vote for Republicans because, well, we’re not Democrats.

(They actually believe that.)

Good article. John Boehner could figure out a way to lose while holding a winning lotto ticket.

“FIRE THEM ALL” is a battlecry that Pelosi delights in, but does no more harm to Boehner than to the good guys. Why fire the Rand Pauls and Ted Cruzes of the world?

I thought he was Col. Klink, depressingly ineffectual and incompetent.

And where opposing Obama’s agenda is concerned he has a ‘perfect record’.

The House GOP again collapsed in the absence of leadership today

The House GOP leadership is doing the job for which they are hired to do. They protect Obama's right flank from Tea Party types so he can implement the Globalist Agenda.

At least the Browns try to win and they don't have a quarterback who plays for the opposing team.
