The U.S. House of Representatives narrowly approved a one-year extension of federal borrowing authority on Tuesday after Republicans caved into President Barack Obama's demands to allow a debt limit increase without any conditions.

The Democratic-controlled Senate was likely to begin consideration of the measure on Wednesday. But Republican Senator Ted Cruz, a conservative Tea Party favourite, said on Tuesday night he would insist on a 60-vote threshold for the debt ceiling measure to pass the Senate. That would mean at least five Republicans would need to join the Democrats, who control 55 votes, for the measure to pass the chamber.
Senate Republican Whip John Cornyn said earlier on Tuesday there were "probably not" five Republican votes in the Senate for a clean debt ceiling increase.

Obama to Force Military Families Away From Tricare ...By Tripling Their Fees.
6/29/12
Administration officials told Congress that one goal of the increased fees is to force military retirees to reduce their involvement in Tricare and eventually opt out of the program in favor of alternatives established by the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.

Not only do we pay for them to be born here, then there is the food stamps, welfare, Medicaid, cell phones, school and the Judicial system and I am sure many more we could add that ILLEGAL INVADERS are not entitled to. They are racking in a $1000 per month or more, and their sick adult males qualify for Medicaid.
Call your Senators NOW and tell them to tell John Cornyn to go to hell and vote NO on CLOTURE for Boehner’s Debt Ceiling bill.
There will never be another fight over the debt. China has threatened us will retaliation if we default.
“Poor Cornyn. Can’t even whip 5 GOP cloture votes for Harry Reid and John Boehner!
Thank God for Ted Cruz! “
If Ted would just go ahead and endorse one of Cornyn’s primary opponents, we would have a runoff and probable new conservative Senator.
I had always mused since Ted is much more popular to Texans than Cornyn that it would have been fun to have Ted announce his resignation from the Senate, then run in the primary for Cornyn’s Senate seat.
Would have been fun to see Cruz send Cornyn home for good and Perry appoint a good conservative to fill out Ted’s seat until the special election.
There will not be a default. Even if the limit is not increased - unless 0bama chooses to cause it. But we’ll always have enough to pay debt service. Just have to cut back elsewhere. But that’s normal, expected behavior isn’t it?
But there may be a debt bill that includes no ins. company bailouts sent back to the house.
Let me ask something that kinda preys on my mind, what is the difference between defaulting on Obozo’s debt and paying some other country back with monopoly money?
