Erika Harold, who was crowned Miss America in 2003, announced last summer that she would be running for the Republican nomination for Illinoiss thirteenth Congressional district. As Miss America, she spent her reign promoting her messages of bullying prevention and abstinence. If elected, she would become the first female African-American Republican in Congress.
We first read about her in the Weekly Standard....already sent her money.
Sounds like the Libs have a new female Republican to unleash their racist, sexist, anti-conservative hate upon.
We will keep our ear to the ground and keep our hopes high that she gets the nod..of her party, and her district/.
If Mia Love wins her race there will be two black Republican women in Congress.
Certainly fits the conservative vs. liberal women rule.
Yup, the Libs are very territorial about keeping their Plantation secure.
Hope Erika develops a thick skin quickly!
Maybe there is hope for “The Party of Lincoln” after all - - - .
Saw her on one of the Fox shows. She is incredibly impressive. Wow!
The dems will declare she’s not black enough to be considered black.
Black or not. Doubt she cares. I’d love to meet her parents and tell them what a wonderful person they raised.
Oui, one suspects a coordinated and continuous "incoming" salvos from the Dem attack machine.
I'm guessing that Ms. Harold's inner strength and senses of self respect and duty to Country will override the viciousness likely headed her way.
Erika. Good on ya!
If Katrina Pierson (Ted Cruz endorsed) beats Pete Sessions in TX-32 (along with Harold & Love), there will be three Black GOP women in Congress.
Many complain , but few volunteer to rescue America from the Democrat Evil Empire Plantation, located in the District of Corruption on the Muddy banks of De Nile River.
Very attractive lady.
Calling her “black” is a reaall stretch.
Democrats are all in favor of black progress, but only in highly controlled doses by the plantation bosses, so they don’t get too uppity.
Calling Obama black is also a stretch.
