I’m still blown away that she was able to win a state election as a write-in candidate. That has to be incredibly rare in the modern era.
She violated every rule about write-in elections. The Dems ran a full blown campaign of destruction about Joe Miller, and spent hundreds of thousands promoting ‘THE KOW’. When the election results were contested, a sympathetic liberal judge and supreme? court decided the rules were not serious enough to warrant overturning “the will of the people”. Add to that she courted the “village vote” of native people, by promising to thwart any move by Whitey to oppose their will. Melanin strikes again.
