In a personal note, NBC News Special Correspondent Tom Brokaw revealed he has been diagnosed with cancer and said he and his physicians are very encouraged with the progress he is making.
Brokaw, who has worked at NBC News since 1966, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer affecting blood cells in the bone marrow, in August at the Mayo Clinic. His doctors are optimistic about the outcome of the treatment he is receiving, and Brokaw said he remains the luckiest guy I know.

I hope the treatment is successful.
Keep in mind that if the Marxists had their way 10, 20 years ago, Brokaw would be a definite statistic.
GTH, Marxists, you #ing scumbags!
My father suffered from that. At the time it had its onset (1984) the expected survival was around 5 years (my father saw 3 of that). With modern advances, Brokaw probably has a more optimistic prognosis.
I hope that visible figures like this can use their soap boxes to remind us that Obamacare and like schemes will slay the golden goose of modern cures and better palliative treatments. This is not like doing it in England, where desperate cases could catch a plane to the USA and do what needed to be done. Where do you escape to from here?
...nah...id Rather not
Don’t be an asshole.
“Marxism” will craft its own hell.

well what goes around, comes around for libtards
I believe you are the one pounding the sand. You can’t push God backwards as much as you like to.
Encouraging for EVERYBODY... here’s someone with a voice that can be heard, ready to speak up for what the free market medicine of old brought to pass, and you want to say what?
Yeah, don’t be an asshole.
I think it best for me not to comment on this thread. lol.
Prayers for Tom and his family.
Then heaven is full of “nancy” and you don’t want to be there. Trust me. You’d hate it. Way too much love and mercy.
Well, he should avoid getting pregnant :-)
I don’t think that Barry was in the mood anyway. ;^)
“Dont be an asshole.”
I agree, best not to be an a-hole. But if you must, Brokaw is an excellent choice.
