George P. Bush: “My message to dreamers is to keep dreaming” (Flashback)

For George P. Bush, the nephew of the former U.S. President, George W. Bush, the Latino vote “has a critical importance in the national election, specifically in states like Florida, Nevada and Colorado,” and he has a message for the dreamers, “keep dreaming” to reach U.S. citizenship.

VOXXI: What does Spanish language represent for you? You father, former governor of Florida, Jeb Bush, speaks Spanish very well. And you?

George P. Bush: (In Spanish) More or less. I have to practice (Spanish) in Texas. English is the first language everywhere but I’m proud of my Hispanic heritage. When I have the chance, I use it.

-snip-

But I am a George W. Bush Republican on this issue. He was the president that actually tried to pass a comprehensive bill that was extremely close to being passed in the Congress when he was President of the United States, and it focused really on three things: first the national security perspective of it, understanding who’s coming in and out of our country, because our immigration system is fundamentally broken. Secondly, a guest worker program. We used to have the Bracero Program, which was successful, where you had temporary labor that services jobs that the average American does not have an interest in serving. You look at the rate of illegal immigration during the Bracero Program, it was low because temporary laborers knew that there was a system by which they could come to the country, earn a living, pay their taxes, and be a part of the system. Then finally, what to do with the 12 million folks that are already here, of undocumented status, and figuring out a system by which if they pay back taxes, demonstrate an interest in American culture, a basic

So what about the dreamers that founded this country and the dreams of those who defended this country?

And if you are a taxpayer who thinks you aren’t going to get fleeced by the government handing out your money to illegals, keep dreaming too.

...the Latino vote “has a critical importance in the national election, specifically in states like Florida, Nevada and Colorado,”

No sh*t, Sherlock. Elections have consequences and they mostly vote DemocRAT. Or, more accurately, they register as DemocRATS and then the poll workers in DemocRAT precincts fill in the blanks on their ballots.

My advice to George P. Bush: “Sorry, son. We’re not hiring.”

You will never stem the flood tide of illegal entries to this country if you repeatedly hold out the promise of undeserved citizenship. In fact, you will encourage more illegal immigration. The only correct program is:
  1. secure the border in a transparently verifiable way;
  2. end the anchor-baby interpretation of the 14th Amendment;
  3. enforce eVerify without exception and with severe penalties;
  4. no government benefits beyond critical emergency care (and that ought to be billed back to the home government); and
  5. NO "Path to Citizenship" - ever - for anyone who has entered the US illegally.
Any thing less than this is de facto amnesty. And it will inevitably encourage millions more illegal entries.

Oh, and support David Watts for TX Land Commissioner. No more Bushes!

It’s just not possible to defeat a Bush in a TX Republican primary. Only Ronald W. Reagan did that — in 1980, and it was closer than expected.

I have done much of my ancestry and am amazed at what they did as their part of this country. They were immigrants and suffered and did it the legal way. They did not seek welfare and a free ride they sought jobs and the American dream.

George P, like his idiot uncle and pandering dad, cannot wait until our homeland is essentially the same as Mexico in all measures.

Mexico: Where the filth on the streets includes bags of human heads.
