There are those in this country who view any separation of the genders along any lines at all to be discriminatory. They literally view the words, "MEN" and "WOMEN" above bathroom entrances in the same vein as signs in the 1940′s that read "WHITES" and "COLOREDS" above those same doors. Our founding documents and most of our core personal beliefs reinforce the understanding that all men (and women) are created equal. But is equal, equivalent? According to Merriam-Webster:
EQUIVALENT 1 : equal in force, amount, or value; also : equal in area or volume but not superposable 2 : like in signification or import 3 : corresponding or virtually identical especially in effect or function 4: equal in might or authority 5 : having the same chemical combining capacity
By this definition women and men are anything but equivalent. However, the unrelenting drive by the politically-correct left to somehow make us, to force us into equivalency knows no brakes. In fact it's an ideology and movement that has its foot firmly on the gas pedal.

America is insane.
The ones who are running the show are certifiably insane - I guess we must be insane, too, for letting them get away with it without even a fight.
Are there any female plumbers? I know one female truck driver. I can’t remember seeing any female UPS drivers. How about construction workers and I don’t mean the ladies who hold the signs.
I agree. People took to the streets to protest the Viet Nam war but the destruction of America is underway and we just can’t seem to get too worked up about it.
Unfortunately, the dictionary became irrelevant the moment they threw the definition of marriage out the window. Words now mean anything the postmodern liberals desire them to mean.
The truest irony of all is that they will say men’s and women’s signs are tantamount to “whites” and “coloreds”, and blame the GOP, when we all know which party is the party of segregation.

It seems kinda of backwards.
Equivalent means functional the same. Equal means exactly the same.
As for combat ... give it to them, and give them the M240’s to carry around too.
If there are any female plumbers, truck drivers, construction workers who are truly doing the job without calling in a man to do the hard bits, they are so rare as to be considered nothing but aberrations. You don’t change everything for aberrations.
Closer to home, just go into Lowe’s or Home Depot - lots of women working there, but when it comes to the heavy lifting or knowledge on most things, it is the men who step up. If the most qualified were hired, there would be far fewer women at Lowe’s.
Also, let us not forget the true goal of the Leftie/Libs in all of this - Destruction of America - again, do we let this go down without a fight?

Societies where women have no role that is special to them often become societies where women are debased and abused.
My comment there:
The USA is in the thrall of social madness. This is often seen on the cusp of revolution and collapse. The reset to eternal natural law is going to be brutal. Do we believe, for example, that our future enemies will also handicap themselves with PC insanity? How will our PC-bound feminized and homosexualized military fare when we have to fight real battles like Normandy, Iwo Jima, the retreat in Korea, Hue City or Fallujah? Alas, Brave New Babylon.

The only time in which this country will give the women-in-combat matter attention is when large numbers of them start getting captured, used for propaganda, and ultimately killed.

Enough platitudes. How about some real ways to wage this “fight”?
I was almost sure that pareagraph was going to end with,
"... a matter of time until a soldier in such a predicament declares himself a pre-op trans woman, wears long hair in a prim army bun, and changes his name to Marilyn."
