There are those in this country who view any separation of the genders along any lines at all to be discriminatory. They literally view the words, "MEN" and "WOMEN" above bathroom entrances in the same vein as signs in the 1940′s that read "WHITES" and "COLOREDS" above those same doors. Our founding documents and most of our core personal beliefs reinforce the understanding that all men (and women) are created equal. But is equal, equivalent? According to Merriam-Webster:
EQUIVALENT 1 : equal in force, amount, or value; also : equal in area or volume but not superposable 2 : like in signification or import 3 : corresponding or virtually identical especially in effect or function 4: equal in might or authority 5 : having the same chemical combining capacity
By this definition women and men are anything but equivalent. However, the unrelenting drive by the politically-correct left to somehow make us, to force us into equivalency knows no brakes. In fact it's an ideology and movement that has its foot firmly on the gas pedal.

Seems to me that’s the logical thing to do if anyone is truly interested in determining female soldier combat effectiveness. All female combat units in training, all female combat units in actual combat situations. I mean how else would anyone logically do it?

Action Plan with concrete steps - Add to it as you see fit.
1) There is nowhere to go with the Established Government - Every single member of Congress (including the beloved Cruz, Mike Lee, Gowdy, King, Gohmert, Bachman, Coburn) are traitors who have violated their oath of office. They are playing us royally. GIVE THEM NO MONEY.
2) Married women with small children - Make your financial plan to leave your job and go home. Raise your own children. The State schools and daycare are ruining your kids, so homeschool if you can or find a group of like-minded people to join who know what they are doing. This will free up some jobs for the men, who are suffering mightily.
3) Stop watching any of the Major Media on TV. Get yourself educated - no excuse for being ignorant any more.
4) Put your savings into something concrete - invest in a business or something that is real.
5) Do all you can to discourage your child from joining the military.
6) Please ask Jesus for guidance and forgiveness for being so derelict in protecting your freedoms - there simply is nowhere else to go - America is the last hope. In the end, this is all about falling away from God, the hardening of the heart and converting good people into bad ones.

The awful irony is that islamists are ‘believers’ who otherwise claim homosexuality to be a sin worthy of extermination. And homos may well be inviting their brethren to give up their heads.
The original story I saw referred to a soldier who is a Sikh, NOT a Islamist. The Sikhs are from Punjab in northwest India. They wear beards and turbans. The Sikh faith is not related to Islam.
Do you have a link to the original article the author is discussing? If there is evidence that the DoD has granted the same to moslem religious soldier, I will stand corrected.

Look back at this country just 25 short years ago. Its barely recognizable. The liberalization of America and its institutions has been nothing short of dramatic. I can’t imagine what we will look like in five more years. Its all been driven by the Left.

Why not simply classify all soldiers on Physical and Mental Merit ONLY and the ones who cannot keep up are assigned to Base Logistics in the states etc...

I am a woman and I grew up on a farm and probably more used to hard than 99% of the other women out there, however if I couldn’t pass the physical fitness for ANY position in the military I wouldn’t scream and shout about being supposedly slighted. Also there are other need on the battlefield that women have that are different for men, part of the military Logic is “Uniform” is that it is not the actual “uniform” but the concept of uniformity because if it is not easy logistically speaking to have to supply stuff that is non-standard.
Our bodies are different and take different logistics, so that would throw a monkey wrench into things, now it is far easier or not an issue at all to deal with in the states or near a base, but when it comes to front line combat the supply chains are less reliable and by necessity must be minimal standards. What an issue it would be if they had to replace a box of ammo with a box of specialized stuff for the one soldier out of a unit of 100 and because of this they ran out of ammo and were slaughtered....
From my previous readings on the issue of gender equality in the Military, it started with women complaining that they weren’t getting the higher promotions because they were prevented from direct combat duty. These women, and their enablers, made it all about career advancement and not a scintilla about National Defense and what makes our military superior in the world. The Repubs and the Dems are lockstep on this, so it was going to happen. But, it was all a ruse to destroy from within, IMHO.

They aren’t contradictions. For those who are in the know - realize the Arabic world - abetted by Islam is and has always been hugely homosexual and into deviant sexual behavior. It is a front that they are against it; there are against the effeminate cross dressing in your face variety. But the dominance - angry donkey emotionally effed up kind they are all about. The whole M. East is involved with this stuff. A by product of warped views. I grew upover there in UAE as a 12 to 18 American teenager and had to watch my back. The myth is a front kept up for the outside world. They despise the effeminate and flamboyant types - which are historically a new thing. If one looks at history of Arab literature - what little there is - is about man - boy relationships. All of N. Africa and Persian gulf. Read Wilfred Thesiger mentions this behavior as a right of passage in both Arabian Sands and Marsh Arabs.

Maybe feelings of male inadequacy and proving one’s virility along with lack of opportunity and ability to relate in heterosexual relationships normally all come into play.

One way the buggering is covered up is by not having adequate vocabulary to speak of such things - intentionally. So its kept on the down low.
Just some thoughts. Most in the West don’t or can’t comprehend that parts of the Middle East are maybe predominately homosexual for males. This behavior probably goes back before Islam and in spite of Islam as a cultural thing and also reinforced through oppressive Islamic mores and gender roles.
It was just a handful of women that complained. I have seen two star female generals with no combat experience so that was a bogus argument.
My base has a female general with no combat experience. She has never left the USA on any assignment.
