1 adult for every 2.5 boys??
There are a lot of registered volunteers who don’t do much of anything. Lot’s of merit badge counselors who must be registered.
Too many BSA troops are also leader heavy. It’s become a good ole boys club of who has the most volunteer patches on their uniforms.
BSA has an advanced leadership school called Wood Badge. I refused to participate because it’s become a secret handshake club and very cliquish.
