They couldn’t be bothered with voting so they get De Blasio. They can sleep in the bed they made.

And parents, you’re supposed to be adults. If you think it’s dangerous to send your children to school, don’t do it. DeBlasio isn’t your boss. So they miss a day of school - big deal.

I feel bad for the kids, but FUNYC!
You hired this nut, now choke on it.
To: Libloather
BTW, Roker was talking about yesterday, not today. It was not even snowing until very late last night. (Not defending the Commie mayor, just saying...)
To: Libloather
I hope you live in New Jersey, Al. Or else your days of actually having your garbage picked-up are through.
To: Libloather
Funny how pussified liberals are today. Go back even 30 years and it took apocalyptic blizzards to get a snow day.
To: Libloather
During the last snow storm in NY few parents sent their kids to school. De Blasio should get a clue from that.

Al Roker blasts De Blasio for keeping schools open - comes under fire for putting kids in danger I'm surprised the headline didn't refer to them as "little ones."

In Ohio, snow days are determined by the local school district superintendent.
This is another example of how governing functions best at the lowest level possible.

I attribute it more to fear of lawyers than fear of snow. Stupid lawsuits have ruined a lot of things that were once part of the American experience.
To: mmichaels1970
That’s very true as well. But pussification is a part of that also.
To: Norm Lenhart
When I was a kid, school board policy was that if you lived within 2 1/2 miles of your school, you walked to school.
Which we did on many days WAY worse than today.
Of course with a minimum of five miles of walking every day, we did not need a big government anti-obesity initiative.
