As a former combat commander, I can tell you that fear is difficult to avoid on the battlefield. But on todays battlefields, a new fear haunts our troops: the fear of persecution by their own government. That fear leads to internal hesitation. And that leads to death.
Billy and Karen Vaughn, parents who know the pain of having their warrior son betrayed write on Breitbart.com U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan are now forced to fight a two-fronted war. Before each deployment, these soldiers understand fully that day after day they will do battle against relentless terrorists with shifting loyalties and unspeakable hatred. But what none of them could have foreseen was the killing field that would open from their rear: the Continental United States.
Our governments incessant tightening of already restrictive ROE (Rules of Engagement), compounded by the failed COIN (Counterinsurgency) strategyalso known as winning hearts and mindshas made an otherwise primitive enemy formidable.
The chart below shows the awful truth about US military deaths in Afghanistan.

Just think...My nephew is going wheels up (heading over there) with his battalion in short order...
Obama and the DNC bring death to Americans in the military
and to ALL non-Moslem Americans, who are not EXEMPT,
I was always partial to Search and Destroy, myself.
SUCH a wonderful caption to the poster-girl for banality, vapidity, shallowness and stupidity. WHAT a combination. Sign her up for the BillyClintonFanClub!!
Another scandal never reported on,but one far more important than all the others combined. Removes the troops from Iraq where the absence of US troops destabilized the entire region, and moves them to a barren wasteland of no value, where they are not allowed to engage. Meanwhile the Muslim Brotherhood had free reign, and actual White House support, to destroy any change of peace in the Middle East. Amazing.
What I miss is the daily death count the msm’s gave us under Bush. /sarc.
I’m also very impressed by the intensity of the loud, angry demonstrations against Obama’s warmongering held every week by ISM, not in our name and the whole lefty peace crowd. You know, the ones where they call Obama a war criminal and carry posters depicting him as hitler and in the crosshairs of a rifle scope.
They are such hypocritical bastards. Pretending to care about the poor, oppressed people, but only when the president is a republican. I hate them.
Obama doesn’t care about how many American lives are lost in Afghanistan.
He is more concerned about how many Taliban lives are taken.
Hence, his ROE are designed to favor the Enemy.
I defy anybody to dispute my take on this.
I was waiting for that. ;-)
“What I miss is the daily death count the msms gave us under Bush.”
I remember those — every night that would be the top story. Now ... silence. No agenda there, nope.
Yup. I just watched Lone Survivor at the theater. I’d much rather have boredom than anything resembling the excitement portrayed in that movie.
Then get them all out of there.
folks , PLEASE...support the Vaughns and their quest for the truth about what transpired leading to the Extortion 17 shoot down on August 6th 2011 , and purchase and READ ‘Betrayed ‘
Allen is right , you won’t be able to put it down and Billy Vaughn lays out what he has discovered so far so clear and well you will SEE that there is a great conspiracy afoot to see that our special operators that ‘know too much’ are themsleves on a hit list . It’s as scary as it gets ....
Know thy enemy , be forearmed with knowledge and information .
Perhaps we should send odumbo over there. Might solve a problem.
12. There are three ways in which a ruler can bring misfortune upon his army:--
13. (1) By commanding the army to advance or to retreat, being ignorant of the fact that it cannot obey. This is called hobbling the army.
14. (2) By attempting to govern an army in the same way as he administers a kingdom, being ignorant of the conditions which obtain in an army. This causes restlessness in the soldier's minds.
15. (3) By employing the officers of his army without discrimination, through ignorance of the military principle of adaptation to circumstances. This shakes the confidence of the soldiers.
23. If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight, even though the ruler forbid it; if fighting will not result in victory, then you must not fight even at the ruler's bidding.
18. No ruler should put troops into the field merely to gratify his own spleen; no general should fight a battle simply out of pique.
Am I reading it wrong? Looks like the last three years they’ve been trending down.
he’s the problem
