Here is an idea, Republicans introduce a minimum wage of $12.50, coupled with a DOUBLE TAX CREDIT for small businesses AND a complete repeal of Obamacare.

Workers support it the higher minimum wage, employers would support the tax credit (better than a tax deduction), and the American people would support the repeal of Obamacare.

You know, as much as I abhor the "race" card, maybe this is a case in which the GOP should play it! They could say something like:

"Democrats, who claim to care about the poor and minorities, prove over and over again that what they really want to do is to hold them down.

You know who this law helps? It is NOT the poor, who are disproportionately minorities. This law helps the unemployed suburban kids whose affluent parents sent them to college in hopes that the money they spent would lead to their kids getting good jobs. Several years ago, the answer might have been "yes they can", but not that we're in the Obama economy, they realize it's "no they can't".

So of course these limousine liberals want to raise the minimum wage now. They're hoping to get their unemployed live-at-home college educted brats out of the house, even if it means that they go work for decent money at a place like Walmart.

They know this means less jobs for the poor, and less jobs for many minorities. They know that when you increase the minimum wage, then employers will start getting many more applications from those who have led a life of privilege, and that those who come from families who have already won life's lottery will be the ones who are most likely hired.

And they don't care. They don't care that they are hurting the poor, and hurting minorities. They just want to get these unemployed lazy brats out of their affluent suburban homes, so that they can throw a cocktail party without being embarrassed when their guests see they laying around on the couch and playing video games".

The enemies of America don’t need to spend billions of dollars updating their militaries anymore. All they have to do is sit back and watch as we implode all over ourselves as we spend ourselves into oblivion and allow our elitist governing class to take control over our lives and destroy our freedoms. Increase of minimum wage will immediately bring such a high increase in cost of goods and services that Social Security beneficiaries who are barely hanging on will be greatly impoverished by such a move.

Increase in minimum wages will only enrich those governmental programs that take a big slice out of the inflated incomes.

But in the end, nobody wins. Barely employable utter ignoramuses will be overjoyed in the raising of the wage floor only briefly, until they find out that very quickly that the cost of living has adjusted itself to absorb their increase so that they are no better off.
