Lawyers in the upcoming trial of an alleged top Al Qaeda leader reached a compromise Thursday to allow his defense attorney to submit written questions to Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, with government lawyers allowed to review the questions and answers from the presumed Sept. 11 mastermind to ensure no classified material is included.
If government national security officials clear those replies, that could lead to highly dramatic testimony from Mohammed during the New York trial of Sulaiman abu Ghaith, possibly through a closed-circuit feed or videotape from Guantanamo Bay.

Read the article — KSM set conditions (!!!) that government is not allowed to either be present or to listen or record his conversation with the attorneys.
How could the gov lawyers agree to this?!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They say he provided valuable information.
I hate to say it but this is what sets us apart from
Then find him guilty and hang him.
Actually, we should have squeezed him for everything he knows by whatever means available, then just killed him..
“Actually, we should have squeezed him for everything he knows by whatever means available, then just killed him..”
My opinion as well.
There are few other detainees that should never had been brought here.
The time to try him, if there even is such a time, would have been years ago. Now his memory is likely to bd spotty, uneven and unverifiable, even if he intends to brfore.
How cold OUR Gov. Attorneys agree to this??? Because Eric Nordstrom told the TRUTH when he said “The Taliban is in the Building”.....meaning in the State Dept AND the Just US Dept.
