Two days, two victories for opponents of illegal immigration in the state of Nebraska.

Just yesterday TRN reported on the landslide victory in a Fremont, NE vote to bar illegal aliens from being able to rent housing.

Today, a federal judge threw out a lawsuit challenging Nebraska’s authority to deny driver’s licenses to illegal aliens who have received temporary authorization to live and work in the United States by Barack Obama.

The ruling could have a major impact across the nation as states come under well-funded pressure to hand licenses to illegals under the controversial program.

This case doesn’t matter. If the sodomites win their “right” to push their agenda into every corner of the entire country, all is lost anyway.

All issues fiscal can’t win if moral (social) issues lose.

No problem - the several States can simply administer the test only in English, and require all answers be only in English. Problem solved.

If the people in Ne. do not obey, and take what comes, they and we can stop this rule by Fed. judges. Problem boils down to do we have guts in the states anymore? Are we so addicted to the perks the Feds dump on the states that the states will fold? Looks like that is what will happen, who would want to lose their McHouse and their smart phone and their big screen tv? Let alone their lives. All for the sake of an outdated document, that means nothing anymore? So say the commies. As Holder said, we are a nation of cowards. The only thing I agree with him on. Fear of loss has paralyzed us and in the end we will lose it all. I do agree with Roosevelt on one thing, We have nothing to fear but fear itself.
Think it might be time to come out from behind the computer screens or wait till they knock down the front door?

Our political and judicial classes are deciding that we should be a dumping ground for Mexico’s castoffs and dregs of society. How nice. I’m so sick of those neighbors to the south of us who can’t get their act together as a nation, freeload and mooch off of us and are dictating our country’s laws and policies regarding immigration. We’re toast if we don’t stop this madness if we’re not already.

One issue at a time, one issue at a time.

I’m more worried about illegals and what they do; I’ll worry about homosexuality later. Right now the Feds are backing off from the rights of the individual state to determine thigns on their own.

In time, states will decide about homosexual marriage and each state will have the reinforced right (set by precedents like this) to disallow it if they so choose.

Well this is what is happening.....the courts, all across the United States, these judges don’t want to see their power and thus their ability to make money under around and over the table, are afraid that ODUMBI’S EXECUTIVE ORDERS, will take their powers away. Soooo.....THE REBELLION OF THE JUDGES! had begun.

Illegal aliens and their supporters unsurprisingly do not understand that the Constitution's silence about things like drivers' licenses means that such issues are automatically uniquely state power issues.

As a side note concerning state power to regulate drivers' licenses, Obama had used automobile insurance, made mandatory by 10th Amendment-protected state laws, as a selling point for Obamacare.

I liked what Dallas Texas recently did. (I may not have my figures correct but you will get the point)

You get stopped for whatever. Proof of Insurance required. No insurance, car gets towed. Want your car back, pay off the tow and impound fee, provide proof of insurance. Can’t do that? Penalty increases every day by $20.00. (Probably going to be a lot of cars for sale in Dallas shortly)

Note: Reports indicate 80% of drives who lost their car were illegals. Accident rate has dropped significantly.

Dallas’s approach seems to be working.

Since driving a car is a State-specific privilege vs. a Constitutional right, I see no problem with a ban on non-citizens. If they want a license, they can travel to a State that issues them to illegals. Then come the question of whether a State can opt out of recognizing certain licenses from other States.... It would be interesting to see because they have no problem with States not recognizing CCW permits from other States ...

“Federal Judge Tosses Lawsuit Challenging Nebraska’s Ban on Driver’s Licenses for Illegal Aliens”

Licenses for illegal aliens are banned: good

the ban challenged: bad

the challenge tossed: good

The tossing is appealed: bad

the appeal is overturned: good

the overturning is deemed unconstitutional by SCOTUS: bad

the constitution is thrown out my obama: good?

I’m confused.
