The Chamber is really, really pushing "immigration reform". Why??? Because they have a lot of businesses which are dependent upon cheap labor.
Eliminate cheap labor, and we would see more automation, and higher standards of living.

Hey Chamber of Commerce CEO Tom Donohue -
did you know the unemployment rate for Hispanic-Americans ALREADY HERE is sky high? Almost as high as the unemployment rate for blacks.
Yep, Tom Donohue - the folks you made citizens last time CAN'T FIND JOBS.
Why are you bringing in a few million more to compete with the ones who are here? Tell the truth Tom Donohue... it has nothing to do with jobs. It has everything to do with more democrats on the voting rolls.
Eff you Tom Donohue.

the U.S. needs more almost slave labor immigration because Americans are not “qualified” or “willing” to do such work for almost no money.
“Immigration can also address labor shortages in lesser-skilled fields where there are insufficient numbers of either qualified or willing U.S. workers to fill positions, for no money at all.
“Above all, Chamber of Commerce corporations are desperate to maintain lugubrious profits while paying as little to their employees, be they minimum wage workers, outsourced foreign jobs, or illegal immigrants willing to kick back most of their pay, live in shacks without running water or electricity, and won’t be uppity or we can ask the government to kick them out.”

Real simple.
More immigrants = cheaper labor = more profit = more taxes
Progressives are greedy sob’s.

The Chamber is really, really pushing "immigration reform". Why??? The answer is quite simple. Without massive influx of immigrants in our aging society, the house of cards built by the welfare state will come crashing down. The rising minority of Americaan deadbeats is almost to a majority status and full blown socialism is on the doorstep.

Cheap labor.
Who elected this jerk to ANYTHING?? I heard him on TV. VERY ARROGANT. My guess is he represents a bunch of crony capitalists.

I used to be against the minimum wage increase, now I see the Chamber of Slavery is against it — so now I am for it.

Vested interests, bribes/blackmail,contempt for this country,and/or mental problems. Biggest threat to this country comes from inside - including people such as Tom Donahue.
To some posters, Tom Donahue and the Chamber of Commerce brings to mind the term "traitor." An investigative journalist might dig up more than one skeleton in Tom Donahue's closet.

I agree 100%.
America does not need more immigrants, while we do not have jobs.
Bring back American jobs. American factories. Sell American goods in American stores.
Stop buying everything from China. Employed Chinese do not help America.
Hire Americans.
No more immigration, until our unemployment rate is (way) down.
None.
