I hope we negotiate with glaciers better than we negotiate with terrorists. The way it’s going, we’re going to need to pass a UN resolution to keep ice out of the US.

"recorded history" being the key point there. At one time, the "great lakes" were actually a few miles thick ice sheet that extended almost to present day Kentucky.
