US Tells Venezuela to Resolve Newspaper shortages
ABC ^ | 2/15/14 | vanity

Venezuela has been in the midst of protest because of severe inflation, high crime, debilitating electric blackouts, and shortages of food. Protesters have been killed, and jailed, and they continue to protest in desperation.

This is how our country responds. The US government is asking Venezuela "to resolve it's shortage of NEWSPRINT and others materials that are "sqeezing" the nations dailies."

No mention of food, electricity, toilet paper, etc. It isn't a spoof my FRiends.

The government is taking control of all media.

The newspapers were the only independent voices left.

The newspapers can't afford the newsprint at a 58 percent inflation rate, so they are shutting down.

Cuban trained government forces are just beginning to crack down.

This is getting ugly quick.

Bammy has his head in the sand.

Because if the newspapers stop printing, the people might start looking to blogs to find out what’s happening in Venezuela. And we can’t have that.

Obama is afraid that if the poor people of Venezuela can not read about his great exploits in the newspaper they will succumb to total despair.

After all Obama is the embodiment of HOPE and change.

Except that in Venezuela NEWSPRINT is their toilet paper.

That's hinted at in the text:

"squeezing" the nations dailies."

As Mr. Whipple would say, "Please don't squeeze la Charmin"!

In socialist countries, newspapers are toilet paper. It’s all they have. Now they don’t even have that!

Who are we to tell that country what expeditures to make? Chavez would have flipped out over such an imperial attitude from Obama.

WRONG! That was when The Bozo was declared to have won the 2008 Presidential Election.
