Come on, what do you think?
Paula Deen is an idiot, libtard, right along the lines of Lady Bird phony Johnson.

For crying out loud, I live in Mississippi.
Paula Deen is a Lady Bird Johnson.

Did Paula force a woman to watch pornography?

If so, I stand corrected...source please.

. . . and also an authority on spelling. Ahem. It’s “cuisine.” Sorry, I’m a schoolteacher. As a Southerner, I apologize for my effrontery. As for cooking, well, I did live up north for a few years and almost died of food poisoning several times. The rubberized calamari I didn’t expect in the Italian section of Boston almost killed me. Yes, my hat’s off to the Barefoot Contessa, whose “northern” cooking show is terrific, but she is easily just as fat as is Paula Deen. And yes, the blueberries and lobster in Maine were terrific, and I had a nice bowl of clam showder in Connecticut, but, good God! Do they even know what vegetables are? And the ever-present Italian eatery up north, with its calzones a la grease and sodium, would have sent me to an early grave had I not returned to my beloved South, which has always been a land of gracious plenty, and hospitality, green and verdant and full of health, homemade jams and preserves and grandmothers and root cellars. And besides, if my grandmother tossed a little lard into her homemade biscuits, who cares! There was no finer cuisine on the planet!

You should get that anger problem addressed.

I used to watch her show. All her food was WAY too rich. She knew that but that was the way she cooked. I'm sure her food WAS delicious. With all that butter and sugar, it HAD to be.

I wish her well, I wish I could get 75 to 100 mil-large for a venture, but in terms of the cooking guru's on the Food Network, I didn't get her, tried to watch but the ingredients turned me off. I agree it was too fattening, not that I am anti-butter, but I have my limits...

I learn so much more from "Triple D" watching Guy and all the other chef's tricks, herbs and spices, and combinations to experiment to my hearts content and come up with some interesting twist on sauces and rubs on my own....

Nah. I cook much better than she does any given day. Southern and Southern hemisphere.

Retched - the past tense of having vomited.

Wretched - descriptive of those who let hate and ignorance drive their opinions.

As an aside, I ate at her restaurant in Savannah on a Sunday and it was buffet only. The food was mediocre at best (but I know Southern food).

The buffet at The Lady and Sons is a lower quality than the food ordered from the menu, significantly lower in my experience. In fact, the overwhelming majority of menu items are not available on the buffet.

The buffet at Uncle Bubba's Seafood and Oyster House, the restaurant she owns with her brother, Earl "Bubba" Heirs, on Whitemarsh Island, GA, offers seafood and, in my opinion, is better than the one at The Lady and Sons in downtown Savannah.

Did Paula force a woman to watch pornography?

No.

Lisa Jackson alleged that Deen's younger brother, Earl "Bubba" Heirs, made sexually inappropriate remarks, distributed inappropriate pictures to employees, and watched pornography in the office of Uncle Bubba's Seafood and Oyster House, a restaurant owned by Paul Deen and Heirs.

Lisa Jackson was the restaurant's general manager.

Last year, I lived in Savannah from April through October, working on a project for a client. In Savannah, everyone seems to know everything about anybody who is old-school Savannah.

From what I heard, all of those alleged acts were consistent with Bubba Heirs' reputation.

Uncle Bubba’s is on Whitemarsh Island, on the Islands Expressway (80) between Savannah and Tybee Island (not far past the intersection of 80 and Johnny Mercer Boulevard). The parking lot is always full and the dress is casual.

I had the pleasure of meeting her when she came to a Super Storm Sandy relief center and brought 100 hams with her. She insisted there be no media or politicians and pitched in on the serving line. Great to see her rebound.

“Southern white libtard”

The libtard part I can agree with, but being white and southern I take those as fighting words. :)

And I bet to assuage her white guilt.

We ALL have guilt. Since we are ALL members of the human race (well most of us) we are sinners, guilty from the day we reached the ability to know right from wrong....about six or seven years of age.

We ALL have to assuage our guilt in some way.
"White guilt" is stupid, useless and mostly unimportant. No race has cornered the market on guilt, stupidity or self-righteousness. Some INDIVIDUALS seemed to have cornered the market on stupidity, uselessness and unimportance, but they have such problems with their brains that they deserve only my pity.

I LOVE Guy Fieri. My husband and I lived in northern California for a bit and Guy is from about 1/2 hour south of Eureka, California. There is NOTHING up there....absoLUTELY nothing. I was AMAZED that the little podunk area he's from produced SUCH a fabulous chef and GUY!!

I like Paula Deen too but, YES, way too much butter, sugar, salt and fat. Those four ingredients, by the way, not only make food taste good but they make food TASTE.
Otherwise, we would just be strapping on the old FOOD BAG.
Her drawl gets to me after a while, though. It's A LOT put on, I've heard. That's okay with me, but I do get tired of it after a while.

I love Guy Fieri and the Barefoot Condessa because they speak like NORMAL folks. Giada us a twit and a twig who doesn't ever eat and I WAY, WAY distrust skinny chefs: WAY, WAY, WAY unclear on the concept of being a great chef.

Yes, I know the type. When everybody is around she’s all nice. As soon as she walks back she treats everybody around her like vermin.

I worked with a bitch woman I detested. She was just sugar and cream when everyone was around. But to me, when she had no one to control her, she was a bwitch.

She's done herself in, though. She got divorced (She had a SUPER husband.), went on a year's leave of absence, expected to waltz back in to her old job and DIDN'T get it. I WISH I had been a fly on the wall to see her expression when she heard that!
I was able to retire last year because I'm not like her at all and left work with a smile on my face and a smile on everyone else's. I was a good girl ALMOST all the time. :o) I am now living the life of Reilly and she is still working. She has to work at TWO places because NEITHER wants her full time.

The worst thing about her (to me) was how PHONY she was. She was "boss" for a brief while and the other phonies (two other women) I worked with kissed up to her...nauseating. Then she was gone on her leave of absence and their kissy-assness made them look UBER foolish. Harhar. There WERE compensations.

Coincidentally, I don’t have an anger problem either so you needn’t accuse me of same. I have little to no problem with Paula Dean (spelled differently than you did so is it the same person?) as perhaps you and your buddies do. In addition, I saw only assertions in your statement, no facts.
