In a surprise visit Russian President Vladimir Putin dropped in on U.S. Olympic headquarters Friday to chat about the Winter Games and the upcoming Russia-U.S. hockey showdown. He even wore a red 'Happy Valentine's Day from Team USA' pin on his lapel. Putin spent about half an hour at USA House in Sochi's Olympic Park, sitting on a couch talking with U.S. Olympic Committee chairman Larry Probst and CEO Scott Blackmun. From there, he made a stop at Canada House next door.

Maybe he plans to run in the US presidential election, in 2016, after his term is up in Russia?

Well Putin is coming off internationally as having not only core family values, but also class. Obama is the diametrical opposite. What are his strengths? Obama has not even one quality one would want in a national leader.

Russia’s PR is doing a good job of exploiting the political discontent kindled by the Marxists here in the U.S.
While we’re limping along, maybe we’ll see some positive growth in Russia.
Russia won the war on classical music. It has much to be proud for.

From Canadian media he visited the Canadians right after his USA one. He made quite an impression since the crowd there were shouting Rossiya Rossiya as he left.

Actually this makes me wonder. Who will he have at the White House first and who will be slighted or last? Will it be the 2014 NBA Championship team, Seattle Seahawks or 2014 Winter Olympic Medalists?
Absolutely. I like him a lot more than those bastards in Washington.
He probably spends more time running his country than the golf playing idiot we have in the Oval Office, so don’t complain.
