Posted on 02/16/2014 6:12:18 AM PST by Libloather
Democrat Rep. Nancy Pelosi said in a press conference today that even though the Obama administration has unilaterally delayed Obamacares implementation nearly 30 times, there is one delay that will not happen: the individual mandate.
A reporter asked Pelosi, who was House Speaker when Obamacare passed: The administration announced another delay of the employer mandate on obamacare or the affordable care act. Do you think that opens up wiggle room for Democrats to vote to delay the employee mandate that the employees are now required to but, and if so, why not?
Pelosi fired back: No, it is a completely different thing.

Pelosi and the democrats are big business shills and cronies?! That is what she is saying since they have delayed the mandates for big business.
"Those Democrats leering over my shoulder owe me bigtime.
The healthcare bill insures we get a permanent Democratic majority."
" All except those Tea Party types, swallowed hook, line and sinker my promises that they could:
(1) keep their existing health plans,
(2) keep their own doctors that they like,
(3) keep their 25-year-olds on the family health plan,
(4) never be denied coverage for a pre-existing condition,
(5) sign up instantly on my tech-savvy government Web site,
(6) buy insurance only after becoming seriously ill."
(7) save $2,500 in annual premiums in the bargain....
(8) All without any new taxes."
"Them sonovagun Tea Partiers will rue the day they criticized my wonderful bill."
I will be so happy when this evil creature is put out to pasture. Nanny, you are getting old and useless
<><> Obama has issued alnost 30 executive orders to unilaterally change his precious healthcare law.
<><> The Republican House majority has passed over 30 different bills amending or replacing O/Care.
<><> Sen Harry Reid is the roadblock preventing O/Care amendments from reaching the lock-stepping Democrat-controlled US Senate.
The lowest room in a dungeon sounds better.
In the words of Trey Gowdy: Mindnumbingly stupid!
...until we decide we need to.
There she goes again, trying to impress her grandkids.
We The People are about to put forth a few executive orders of our own. (So help us God.)
“”Do you think that opens up wiggle room for Democrats to vote to delay the employee mandate that the employees are now required to but, and if so, why not?””
“Pelosi fired back: No, it is a completely different thing.
Good grief - the reporter made as much sense as she did. She’s so off her rocker that she doesn’t even recognize a stupid question when she hears it and she’s going to answer it anyway.
Yes! The “Don’t Tread On Me” state has HAD it with “Fair and Balanced”, “The New Normal”, “Nanny State”, “PC State”...
She is forever to be known as “Mind numbingly stupid”.
Yes, she will. And every time that comes up, we’ll also remember that Trey Gowdy is an Amnesty operator.
Mind numbingly manipulative.
Is that you Nancy?
Nancy Pelosi is as dumb as a box of rocks, who, being third in line for pres for a few years, made us look like and think we were (are) kinda there right along with her.
Trey Gowdy rightly called her (as voters) out on this.
But that doesn’t make Trey Gowdy a candidate for sainthood:
“Gowdy says the immigration proposal that his committee is focused on and one that Boehner has been very supportive of has nothing to do with winning elections or appealing to groups who formerly didnt associate with the Republican Party. Rather he says it has to do with border security, internal security, and whats best for the country and those are the principles Boehner will likely put into writing. He says, among his colleagues in the House, there is no appetite for Amnesty as it is commonly defined.”
Her saying that makes it a dead bang cinch that sometime after March 31, 2014 (close of enrollment) the individual mandate will be delayed. Bet on it.
The RATs can’t let that be an issue in November.
Could not agree with you more, but that does not change anything to alter anything about the utterances of pelosi it just exposes her for what she really thinks and believes.
Yes, Gowdy’s dealings and his character do not change anything about Pelosi being a blockhead
Yes, Gowdys dealings and his character do not change anything about Pelosi being a blockhead.
You are being kind to pelosi.
Have a great day.
“I will be so happy when this evil creature is put out to pasture. Nanny, you are getting old and useless.”
I have complete faith that they will be able to come up with someone even worse.
That’s what we are all waiting for. She keeps making stupid pronouncements to keep her name in the news, but she is useless.
I have on reason to be kind to Pelosi.
She is as corrupt as any of the most corrupt people in government. How did such an idiot get to be the speaker? But she’s done. She has done enormous damage, much that we don’t know anything about. It was Pelosi who was using the Air Force as a private airline for her family. Her husband and she are so loaded that no democrat should ever complain about income inequality just on her record alone.
She is a Brooklyn born phony Californian.
I do not mean to be kind to her, we have to read it after we vote on it.
I am pointing out that as we speak and as we speak about Gowdy, he is very busy plotting our demise, while Pelosi is wandering around uttering nonsense.
” At age 7, she stood beside her father when he was sworn in as Baltimore's first Italian-American Mayor in 1947. Democratic to the bone, the D’Alesandro family never moved out of the city's working-class Little Italy neighborhood. Pelosi’s mother had dropped out of law school to marry, but she became a leader at the local Democratic Women's Club. Pelosi’s brother, Tommy D’Alesandro III, followed in their father's footsteps and was Mayor of Baltimore from 1967-71.”
Father... "D’Alesandro was then elected to the 76th Congress and to the four succeeding Congresses, serving from January 3, 1939, until he resigned on May 16, 1947. While in Congress, D’Alesandro strongly supported the Bergson Group, a “political action committee set up to that challenged the Roosevelt Administration's policies on the Jewish refugee issue during the Holocaust, and later lobbied against British control of Palestine” despite his equally strong support for Roosevelt's other policies. Following his service in Congress he was Mayor of Baltimore for 12 years from May 1947 to May 1959. He was defeated for renomination by the Democrats in the March 1959 primary election. He was also an unsuccessful candidate for the United States Senate in 1958.
D’Alesandro ran for Governor of Maryland in 1954, but was forced to drop out due to being implicated in receiving undeclared money from Dominic Piracci, a parking garage owner convicted of fraud, conspiracy, and conspiracy to obstruct justice."”
Brother Thomas III “ indicted for rape as a young man. He was indicted for corruption as Mayor. Both times, the charges were dismissed when the principal witness made herself / himself scarce until the charges were dismissed. In the latter case, the witness turned up alive and well in a Las Vegas casino, after the charges against DAlesandro were dropped. The same charges against Councilman Mimi DiPietro, had not been dismissed. When I as a candidate pointed out that DiPietro could still be tried for corruption, the DAlesandro response was to send a compliant States Attorney before a compliant judge, to drop those charges also.”
In a word, Nancy has been “mobbed up” her whole life.
If there’s one thing Pelosi will never do it’s entertain a thought or speak truthfully.
“If there’s one thing we’ll never do...” Is simply made up by the PJ Tatler editor. Pelosi said “No. It’s central.”
She did go on and reveal her insanity by calling the ACA “sound policy”, but fake headlines like this (and those I often read on Real Clear Politics) are schlocky and cheesy.
Baltimore not Brooklyn, right
It’s California senator boxer who is from brooklyn
