America’s Founding Fathers fiercely held to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—values which Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) claimed align seamlessly with Obamacare.
Pelosi explained why the law is “very sound policy” during a press conference Friday:
To go to back to our founders once again, they sacrificed it all for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This law, the affordable care act, is about a healthier life, the liberty to pursue your happiness. That is solid policy, and the mandate is central to that.
This argument should be added to the montage of lies being promulgated by the Obama administration.
More than half of Americans oppose Obamacare and 56% claim the law is more about bolstering government control than it is about helping individuals get health care.
The millions kicked off their insurance certainly do not find the policy freeing, neither do millennials forced to pay for healthcare feel liberated.
Obamacare is precisely the type of overbearing government policy that the Founders would have fought against:

Collecting data on everyone’s health records and putting it in a huge database, ultimately putting us all at the mercy of the people who populate and maintain this database.
Providing “insurance” for everyone, and taxing people if they don’t buy it.
Having committees decide what medical services qualify for funding, and deciding who can receive medical service from limited resources.
Right, the founding fathers would approve of this intrusion into our rights, our privacy, our liberty. Sure, Nancy.
When asked where it was authorized in the constitution, Pelosi laughed, “The constitution?” As if it were a totally irrelevant document. Obviously it is to her. Just like the founders are irrelevant to her. The woman is an absolute traitor.

The Founders sought to limit government, not involve it in every aspect of people’s lives.

Let’s follow her stretched brain’s logic. Forcing Americans to purchase shoddy service is to her the key to a free life?
The shoddy service leads to lesser quality of health than either people who choose their own providers and pay for them, or people who eschew much medical treatment and go for prevention via their lifestyle. Using the doctors and hospitals who accept obamacare = the cheapest medicines, the more sick and diseased in the hospitals and waiting rooms. The doctors least likely to insist on testing for nutritional deficiencies. THUS OBAMACARE CLEARLY LEADS TO POORER HEALTH.
So forcing Americans into the narrow chutes to poorer health will give you liberty to have more fun?
If I took a gun and forced a man to walk through St Elsewhere in any urban downtown in the country, force him to touch the linens, eat a meal there, take a shower inside a patient room, and get a sponge bath from Harvey, he will be healthier after?
And then thus freer to live a pleasant life? But he wasn’t free to choose which hospital to walk through, was he?
So first we must take away “choice” - something I thought Pelosi was especially in favor of.
