I stand here and enjoy the benefits of Freedom by virtue of their service and sacrifice.
Thank the Lord that such valiant men and women have come forth to stand up for the Freedoms we all enjoy.
Thanks to our serving Military - they're serving under crushingly harsh ROE's and continue to distinguish themselves, uphold and enhance the gloried traditions of their respective branches.
God Bless them all - they do us proud now as they always have in the past - and their sterling service stands in bold relief against the skullduggery occurring inside the Beltway!

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

A strange interlude we're having. I haven't been to work since last Tuesday - a series of doctors' appointments on Wednesday - office closed Thursday and Friday - Holiday tomorrow.
I'm having a six-day weekend - the longest vacation I've had in several years.

Good morning, Everyone. Good morning to our
AWESOME
Military, our Allies, and their families.
THANK YOU for all you do.
Thank you, Star, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
I've been watching the Olympics, as well.
Although, I'm not a hockey fan,
I have seen some of the game with Oshie.
Star, you have a right to be proud of what he said.
I applaud him for pointing it out to the liberal media
who like to put labels on everything.
They throw the word hero around way too much.
As for Duncan...he lived in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario,
which is close enough to the USA to count. LOL
This is a quick post. I have the day off (still, which has been nice)
and will head out shortly to do some shopping.
I had to stop by for a good morning post
since it seems so long since I was here.
The good news is that we are in for a warm up. YES!
I am so ready for warm weather.
Time for me sign off and run the roads.
But Please stay around if you can
and chat with the military and/or families.
Remember, be warned...I'll be back!
Now remember, the Canteen is ALWAYS
Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM
DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM
FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.
