CARACAS, Venezuela - Venezuela's president says he's ordering the expulsion of three U.S. consular officials.
President Nicolas Maduro made the announcement during a televised speech Sunday night that comes amid rising tensions in Venezuela over anti-government protests.
Maduro hasn't identified the officials but accuses them of infiltrating Venezuelan universities under the cover of doing consular work involving student visas.

It is getting hot in Venezuela.
for the opposition anyway
The dirty war has begun.
Looks like hundreds of thousands out in the streets of Caracas demanding freedom yet nary a peep from our media.
They are too busy with important information like some actress saying she is homosexual or something about Sochi. They cannot be bothered with trivial matters like one of their Worker’s Paradises undergoing a revolution or civil war.
But first Obama will check their gay rights laws in order to guage his response.
The situation in Venezuela is unraveling faster than I had thought.
Just get one of the reared baseball heroes to run the country. They’d be afraid to kill him.
Do you know why Maduro only expelled three US diplomats from Venezuela?
Because that’s as high as he can count!
Guess they want no witnesses for what's gonna happen next
Legal Insurrection just posted a piece on that silence.
Even has a video.....
Whats going on in Venezuela in a nutshell (English version)
“There is a very good reason Cuba’s Castro dictatorship is on the U.S. State Department’s list of States Sponsors of Terrorism. As the report and video below clearly show, Cuba’s repressive apartheid regime is training armed groups in Venezuela in the terrorist black art of repression, torture, and murder.
This dark and bloody art is being put to use by Venezuela’s puppet dictatorship, which takes orders directly from Havana and has for the last week been attempting to quash mounting protests with violence and lethal force.”
Government death squads, “colectivos”
I expel a U.S. diplomat every morning.
I’ll be waitung for Mclame and Gramnesty to hold a news conference for US intervention, being freedom fighters and all.
No problem. They couldn’t pay me enough to be ambassador to that skiffy country.
