YAL, Liberty Action Fund Endorses Chris McDaniel

Today, Young Americans for Liberty's Liberty Action Fund endorsed state Senator Chris McDaniel in his race for U.S. Senate in Mississippi. Calling Chris "our best opportunity in the U.S. Senate to replace a career politician with a principled constitutionalist," Liberty Action Fund supports candidates who will uphold the Constitution.

"I am honored for the opportunity to be able to fight along side such a passionate movement of young Americans," McDaniel said of the endorsement. "The conservative and liberty movements are about growing interest in adherence to the Constitution. To have the support of Young Americans for Liberty is great for this campaign, but more importantly for the future of liberty in the United States."

"The hardworking voters in Mississippi deserve a proven leader who won't raise their taxes, spend their hard-earned money to bail out well-connect corporations, and betray the freedoms enshrined in our Constitution," said Jeff Frazee, Executive Director of Young Americans for Liberty. "McDaniel will join Sen. Rand Paul, Sen. Mike Lee, and Sen. Ted Cruz to fight back, and that's why Liberty Action Fund -- and our thousands of conservative, libertarian, and constitutionalist supporters -- will do everything possible to make sure he defeats Sen. Cochran in June and wins his election in November."

What does Trent Lott say? I understand he never much got along with Thad.

Just curious, but why would you care what Trent (for rent) Lott says? Like Cochran before and now after him, he was and is a citizen of Washington D.C. not Mississippi.
Both would / do show up for the campaigns and fund raisers and photo ops then quickly retreat to their home on the Potomac.
don't believe me? Ask yourself, when was the last time Lott was seen on the streets of Pascagoula? Or Cochran in Jackson?
That's because they are at home in the suburbs of Washington.

Well, I know how much MS liked Trent; that’s why I thought of him.

I know I was in the minority there, but I never could stand that SOB. I still think, he quit just as Dickie Scruggs was getting ready to spill the beans.
And Like most Washingtonians, he never looked back at Pascagouls.
