Ummmm.....DUH!!! What did they think was going to happen. In the future, the NY state government will also be able to blame those nasty, unwelcome conservatives for leaving their exclusive state and causing the precipitous drop in tax revenues.

Cuomo is a disaster for this state and America this disaster awaits you if you elect Hillary Clinton as your next President. New York politicians specialize in wrecking economies. I live in upstate New York and I watched it deteriorate over the last 50+ years. The Republicans are no better with most of them being RINOS. For example my Republican congressman Gibson is a sellout and now can be classified as a RINO. To make make matters worse he is running against a homosexual who is married to one of the founders of Facebook. Whoever wins will be a loss for New York State citizens. I’m glad we can still move to a more hospitable state when we are ready to go.

The people here are excited about Remington coming here. I was reading comments at al.com and one poster said we had enough guns so why make more? The others were all for it.

Exactly right MNGal. I doubt if they could possibly comprehend how many potential new businesses will never even be STARTED in NY as a result of their moronic policies. The Remington fiasco is just one example that we can actually SEE. How many others?

Wait ‘til they see that all new Remington product will come out of the AL plant and that the NY plant is allowed to die a slow death by transfers, retirements and buyouts.

I live in Arkansas and get New York advertisements on TV saying “Come to New York and create your industry and if you qualify the first ten years are tax free for your business”. So that proves they know taxes will cause a company to move (along with other restrictive laws) but they just can’t stop.

The UMW endorsed Obama in 2008, so it's likely they endorsed Cuomo in 2010. Recall that in 2008 Obama all but promised a war on coal, and yet this Mine Union endorsed Obama. So now most of their coal mining Union brothers are out of work. Same with Remington.

Unions are no more for “the working man” as they are for aggrandizing power via electing Democrats and handing over millions of dues to elect them.

And we have enough cars, why make more?

And there are enough refrigerators, stoves and XBox game consoles.

Probably enough blue jeans.

Maybe someday these Unions will learn? You sleep in a bed with fleas, you are going to get a few on your skin.

Remington will do just fine in Alabama if it leaves the unions behind in New York. Let the unions stay in New York where they can continue to close their halls because the members they "represented" are unemployed and the businesses they drove out are gone.

It's a sad tale that has been going on for decades. I know. I've been there, done that. Got the hell out of NY. Upstate went from a wonderful place to live to a rural Detroit thanks to the unions, Liberals, and envirowackos.
