Americans give border security, dealing with illegal immigrants in U.S. equal weight, poll shows

Americans now assign equal weight to border security and a plan to deal with illegal immigrants who are in the United States, the top two aspects of immigration reform up for debate on Capitol Hill, a new poll says.

The poll splits along party lines, with Republicans emphasizing border security by 55-42 percent. Democrats by 59-40 percent say the government should focus on illegal immigrations living in the country...This poll must have been taken in Calif..Everyone I know says no darn amnesty,no path to citizenship, no dream act..deport back home.we got our on people enduring hardships.

I believe illegals in the country should be "dealt with" as well.

BY putting them on the fastest and cheapest mode of transport straight back home.

And independents only about 40%. But the key is what “dealing with” the illegal invaders here already means.

Most people think its important to deal with them, but we disagree about how.
