The TTAG tipster who alerted us to PepsiCos financial support of Gabrielle Giffords 2013 civilian disarmament gabfest entered pepsico into the search bar at aspenideas.org. (Fiendishly clever, eh?) Up popped Brad Jakeman, President, Global Beverage Group, PepsiCo, Inc., right below none other than Gabrielle Giffords, the doyenne of disarmament. Being the seasoned journalist I am I Googled Mr. Jakemans name and the festival and found the YouTubery above. According to Mr. Jakemans full official bio the Aussie was the marketing maven behind Activisions gun-intensive Call of Duty video game (Theres a soldier in all of us). Here he is below Ms. Giffords .

I’m running out of soft drink company choices.
Just drank my last Pepsi. Gonna miss it, too.
Haven’t drank a soda in a long time..
not surprised hypocrites like this congregate like this..
two faced liberals.. nothing new.
The same guy that licensed the stretched butthole rainbow logo to the bam admin?
Things go better with Coke!
Pepsi owns a lot of brands, including juice, water, tea, chips etc.
Its hard to stay away from Coke or Pepsi but I’m trying.
Haven’t drank Pepsi since the 9/11 comment their COO made. Think it was a female COO from India made a comment about American’s kinda deserving 9/11.
Haven’t had a pepsi in 50 years.
Will you please post that list? Thank you
I guess you missed the Super Bowl ad with 'America the Beautiful' in a dozen different languages, eh? No thanks.
Conservative, liberty-minded Americans are running out of options and out of time.
A recent article proves that the Republican establishment is actually applauding the IRS investigations of Tea Party groups.
Americans have lost their government to greed and corruption.
We are literally at a crossroads. How many Americans will choose to fight?
Well you would think Pepsi would want to stop brain damage by bullets because it is horning in on Aspartame’s territory when it comes to brain damage.....
Sorry I am in a Foul mood today.
But...but...she and Mark Kelly are saints!
They are Mother Teresas refusing food, lodging and, most of all, cash, as they spread the antigun gospel!
There must be some cynical people in the world to believe they are trading on her disability to produce a nice little earner for themselves with the usual ‘progressive’ idiots, wealthy or otherwise, ponying up the green stamps.
Darn. Diet pepsi’s about all I drink. Going to have to go full bore for Soda Stream - and Israeli company.
According to a poster at the site:
Pepsi Brands include Frito Lay, Tropicana Juice Products, Quaker Brands, and Gatorade.
Frito Lay Products include Tostitos, Doritos, Lays Chips, and Flat Earth Snacks.
Quaker Brands include Aunt Jemima, Rice-A-Roni, Near East side dishes, Spudz snacks, and Crispums baked crisps.
Quaker Breakfast Cereal Brands include, Life, Puffed Wheat, Harvet Crunch, King Vitamin, Quaker Ohs!, Mothers Cereal, and Capn Crunch.
Gatorade Brands include G2, and Propel Fit Water.
Pepsis SoftDrink Brands include Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Mountain Dew, Diet Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew Voltage, Sierra Mist, and Diet Sierra Mist.
So, remember its not just soda.
Soft drinks worst thing you can put in your body.
Finally got tired of tracking a company’s politics for product consumption. Pepsi’s president today could be someone else’s president tomorrow. What is the CEO’s position. Back in the fifties while consuming a bottle (they reused the bottles back then)of Pepsi I noticed the bottom half of the bottle was filled with sludge. Have never had a Pepsi since.
Then don’t drink soda. I had to quit when I was diagnosed as a diabetic and artificial sweeteners in diet soda gave me a bad case of the munchies. I’m lucky I have good tap water, but if you don’t, invest in a filtration contraption (such as Brita) or squeeze some lemon or lime in your water.
Don’t waste your money on this toxic product. Drink seltzer.
No—I actually saw that—and actually almost vomited up the Coke I was drinking at the time.
I’ve been addicted to Coke for more than 60 years-—don’t think that will change now.
It is what it is.
do you really want to live in a world, without coca-cola? /breaking bad
He out to be fired on the spot for business and overall stupidity
Why a company would throw itself into a left wing policy especially one that is angrily opposed is stupidity beyond description.
i don’t know why she quit. like most libtards they’ve shown to screw things up they only need half a brain at most.
seriously though, when was the big ceremony where gabby and mike burned all their old pictures at the rifle ranges, and proudly handed over every single gun and other dangerous weapon they have? did i miss this media extravaganza? i mean if all citizens should be disarmed, then start with those campaigning for it.
I believe big business is pretty much convinced of long term “progressive” control of govt and is trying to purchase “crony capitalist” insurance.

plenty worse other than soft drinks, and it’s also about how much, like most things.
Only one item on that list I bought in theist year
Quaker products my stomach says are full of soy filler which it complains about loud and long
My BIL had worked for a large soy research company 22 out if 23 came to the conclusion that soy was not tolerated by humans. So they fired them all keeping their or destroying years of research Now I’m sounding like the liberals: grow your own! Don’t eat anything pre made ! Learn to cook! Lol
LMAO! Me too. Water is next.
She was a Democrat before she was shot, so I doubt she was ever pro-2nd Amendment. Either way, her motives are irrelevant. What matters is what she proposes, and the anti gun lobby is simply wrong. More gun rules and regulations do not stop criminals from using guns.
Frankly, it wouldn’t even matter if she was right. She has no legal or moral right under the US Constitution to ban guns short of a constitutional amendment. THAT is the contract between We the People and the federal government, and it contains all the provisions necessary to amend it.
I thought the tobacco smoke I quit two years ago was that?
Our family has switched to Kvass, Russian bread drink, fizzy too. Much healthier than soda drinks. Does not dissolve pennies either.
Ms. Giffords wandered into a public area where anyone could freely go....and they did. A very good man was killed along with five more out of the eighteen shot. Have the others demanded disarmament of lawful people? Giffords is in a way a puppet for the anti-gun people, especially her husband who wants to run for office....on the back of our Constitution's Second Amendment....Jared Loughner was a known nut...does this Politically Correct society carry some blame? Whatever, no more Pepsi in this house!
16 ounces or more will kill you.
Just ask nanny statist Bloomturd.
Darn, I’ll have to drink more beer now
do they count the freaking mountain of ice that comes with the bit of soda as part of then16 ounces?
you want to know what’ll really kill you before the soda? ice from a restaurant ice making machine. generally less sanitary than the water from their toilets. bacteria in the supply lines, and from employees’ unwashed hands getting in there.
beer has never killed anyone. stop drinking soda and only drink beer.
problem solved. /s
Pepsi is a bit harder since they don’t provide a list on their website just links with logos. here is a pretty good list though http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_assets_owned_by_PepsiCo
At a high level these are pepsi brands
Elma Chips (Brazil)
Smiths Crisps Australia
Walkers Crisps United Kingdom
Root beer float...instantaneous death!
wow, i have cheated death a LOT of times....
I understand that. I’m pretty sure if you stopped tomorrow they wouldn’t notice anyway. :)
For me, it’s not a problem. Local fresh-squeezed OJ, milk, local apple cider, tap water, craft brews, and wines from small wineries all over the world. That’s it.
(I don’t drink quite that many)
