Ex-Militants Who Admit Killing Cops Seek Parole (Black Liberation Army)
NBC News ^ | 2/17/14

**SNIP**

In their 2012 appearances before parole officials, both men admitted their roles in killing officers Joseph Piagentini and Waverly Jones, 33. The officers were shot multiple times after they'd responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a Harlem housing complex on May 21, 1971. Prosecutors said it was a trap set by Bell and Bottom.

"I began to see things in a way that I wanted to come clean," Bell said in 2012, according to a transcript. "I wanted to accept that fact that I committed this offense, I wanted to show remorse, but I didn't really know how to express that to the Board."

When pressed on why he'd maintained his innocence for so long, Bottom said, according to his transcript, "Who wants to acknowledge, who really wants to deal with the issues of killing another human being?"

Since being incarcerated, Bell, 66, has earned bachelor's and master's degrees, has learned to play the flute and corresponds with homeless New York City children. Bottom, now 62, has also earned a college degree, was credited with stopping prison riots and helped found an organic farm operation that brings healthy food to poor families.

How beautiful. Why haven't they been executed yet?

I imagine Holder will let them out. The commie ‘RATS are going to need all the voters they can get in 2014 and 2016.

Translation: I finally realized I wasn’t going to get off the hook, so now I’m sorry and stuff.

BTW, wasn’t there also a case in Chicago back in the 70s similar to this? IIRC, a couple of CPD officers were killed by a sniper at one of the projects. Can’t remember if it was a setup call or not - not that it matters to the slain officers, of course.

“Thou shalt not kill.”

You could at least get the Commandment right. It is “Thou shalt not do murder.” and you faux Christians always leave this one out: “He who sheds mans blood, by mans hands shall his blood be shed.”.

The DO”J” and Holder will hunt down and find
some innocent white whipping boys, girls, and
helpless women to beat up, rape, and murder, instead.

In whose Bible?

Honest citizens had to pay for these two sociopaths to get college degrees? Can I assume they have a work out gyn, cable TV, and access to illegal drugs?

And the innocent children of the police officers? My guess is evil, stupid, corrupt liberals gave them NOTHING. NO marches, no tears, no ‘free college degree’...

A pox on their house...

If you don’t hate liberal elites and the filth they serve, you’re not paying attention...

Hang them first, then parole them but do NOT pardon them. That is what they deserve.

If your bible has it any other way than “Thou shalt not do murder”, you need a correct one.

That's the meaning of the Hebrew word רָצַח
(transliterated and pronounced ratsach.)

The Strong's Concordance number of the word is 7523. In this form, it is the Hebrew qal tense, a simple past tense that describes a completed action--You shall not (ever) murder. I'm not an expert in Biblical Hebrew, but this is the essence of it.

You haven’t consulted the KJV. You apparently use a different version of the Bible but I wouldn’t rush to correct what others are using and have used for 70+ years.

Exodus 20:13
King James Version (KJV)
13 Thou shalt not kill.

You have an objection to the KJV and of course, the version you use is the CORRECT ONE?? How many years have you been using it?

The correct Hebrew translation is “murder”, not “kill”. See above. Old Jefe Jim didn’t have a lot of Hebrew speakers in his employ.

This has nothing to do with any version of the Bible and everything to do with translation of the original Hebrew.

Translations to English vary. Faux, not so much, either way.

Keep in mind that the same CHAPTER where God says "Thou shalt not kill/murder", a little bit further on He says But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth; But thou shalt utterly destroy them;

So the Israelites were ordered to not kill fellow Israelites, but putting to the sword men, women, and children was OK as long as they were the enemy.

You're welcome.

The Hebrew word that is translated as “murder” is ratsach. It means “to murder.” The old King James Version Bible used the old English and therefore it read as “You shall not kill.” The word “kill” in the old King James English meant “to murder” and the word “to slay” meant “to kill.”

Language changes.

Meanwhile, there's the list of crimes punishable by death in Leviticus, which would require regular humans to make a judgement about the hearts of the accused and whether they were to be judged guilty.

Hardly.

Deuteronomy 19:15

One witness is not enough to convict anyone accused of any crime or offense they may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Demand to be executed. If that doesn’t work hang yourself with a bed sheet.
