In yet another episode of truth is stranger than fiction, via translation from El Economista, I present "Venezuela President Calls for Protest March Against Fascism"
The president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, has again invited his people to take to the streets Saturday in a march "for peace and against fascism."
Mature blames his opponents for violence in recent demonstrations, in which there were three deaths last Wednesday.
The president stated that violent demonstrations are part of a plan to end its power, similar to what occurred recently in Ukraine.
Maduro is calling for a march of all social policies for peace and against fascism forces. "I call all the people of Caracas to join the protest march against fascism , against violence, against the coup," said the president.
Maduro made the remarks in a meeting with his Cabinet that could be followed on radio and television all Venezuelans. The President took the opportunity to launch an attack on the opposition, accusing it of organizing the violent events that have taken place this week in order to overthrow him.
He said that behind these movements are "the same financiers who live by their imperialist policy to penetrate, control the world."
Maduro said that justice will be done and those responsible will be caught "one by one " and called on the opposition to "take responsibility without blackmail, with courage."
Am I mistaken or did Venezuela president Nicolas Maduro just call for a protest march against himself?
“Pot meet kettle, kettle meet pot , how do you do!”
God, I hope they get out the piano wire.
in leftist lingo, fascism means capitalism. I heard it all the time when Air America was still running. Hitler was a fascist because he was a corporatist. Never because he was a socialist. According to them, fascism and socialism are somehow mutually exclusive, when in fact they are pretty much the same thing.
Liberalism, Fascism, Progressiveism, Communism, Marxism, and Genocide are ALL from the left.
Its falling apart for the socialists in Venezuela. So they do what Leftists do everywhere. They are doubling down and blaming the usual suspects. Socialism leads to miserable poverty and the loss of personal freedom. Those that advocate it are fools. Those that implement it are guilty of crimes against humanity.
Thik they gonna throw the bum out....
“Fascists Against Fascism!”
Meaning, its not fascism when we do it. Fascism is whatever it is you’re doing without our permission.
-——in leftist lingo, fascism means capitalism.-——
Exactly correct....spend anytime looking at libtard websites like Daily Kos or DU... it pretty plain to see...
Semantics at their best....
Too True.
I’ve never met a Dem who knew what a fascist is (or who would recognize the one in the mirror). In Demspeak, it just means something like “poopyhead”.
Painfully on point. Ever ask one to explain the main differences between Mussolini’s Fascism, National Socialism and Communism? They really freak when you point out that Mussolini was a noted socialist intellectual and darling of American progressives before the war, AND the inspiration for Hitler. But watching them try to split hairs between the Third Reich and the USSR is the most fun. Usually they just call you an idiot or racist and walk off once they realize something isn’t quite adding up.
Marxian corruption of the language.

Marxist presidents of Bolivia, Evo Morales and Rafael Correa of Ecuador, expressed their solidarity with Venezuelas dictator, Nicolás Maduro. Is Obamas silence also an implicit endorsement of Maduros brutal repression of those who oppose his illegitimate regimen?
That is sad news, she was certainly a beauty.
